Debating a lib on the news of the day. Where do I find the information that the Sandy Hook shooter actually did not use the assault rifle but the handguns to shoot. I thought I read the police found the rifle in his car. Thank you :)

No, it was a semiautomatic shotgun.

That was an early report that turned out to be inaccurate. The video is easy to find on youtube, go watch it yourself. If you know anything about guns, it’s pretty easy to tell that it is a shotgun and not any kind of rifle. They even zoom in at the 6 second mark so that you can clearly see that what they are ejecting from the weapon is a shotgun shell and not any type of rifle ammunition.

At the 6:04, a reporter asks the Medical Examiner and police officials about the “long rifle” being found in the trunk of the car, and he is told by two separate officials that he is incorrect.
Hey, no problem. At least you were trying to clear up the confusion and not add to it, which is more than I can say for a lot of the FReepers posting about this topic lately.
Why then do the police have those same assault weapons?
Second Amendment protections were put into place so the the people could shoot operatives of an oppressive government, not deer.

Now this is taken from a “mockumentary” that puts together a bunch of footage to make it seem like Stanley Kubrick helped fake the moon landings. However, the mockumentary was completely open about how fake it was. Nevertheless, several people have posted clips from it on youtube, citing it as evidence for a moon landing hoax, and many gullible commenters refuse to believe that it isn’t a real documentary!
If you think you read it, you probably did - tell the jerk that’s the way it was, amd if he objects, tell him to look it up himself on the internet.....
