I assume the US will respond without guns because we are against guns on principle/sarc

Agreed, prayers for a safe resolution for the hostageds. One would think this type of event would interrupt programming and their would be outrage in Washington.......

Sure, like the steps he took when asked fron Benghazi where four Americans were slaughtered!!!
Obama already sent these things to AQ through Libya (which was what Benghazi was all about). In fact, we then sent “trainers” to Mali, and most of the people we trained in American war tactics and to whom we provided American arms deserted to join Al Qaeda last week.
Al Qaeda smells weakness and lack of interest in resisting (or possibly even senses sympathy from the WH), and they’re launching a major offensive that will probably end with most of Africa being Islamic within the next few months.
Let’s see, Obama response: “Duuuh... let’s send them weapons and release the blind shiek!”
