Paul Krugman, a liberal economist and New York Times columnist, said increased government spending is key to economic recovery.

During an interview on Friday on “Moyers & Company,” on PBS, Bill Moyers asked, “And you argue that this could actually be solved in two years?” …

Of course, because it has worked so well the last four years. Krugman is a prime example of why Nobel prizes are absolutely worthless.

Socialist Utopia is always just around the corner. This has been true for a long, long time. All you have to do is keeping doing precisely what you have been doing, in precisely the same way: more taxes, more spending, more government. Eventually, the decline will magically turn around, and everythign will become perfect.

Trust me. We're just inches away from paradise.

$800 billion was wasted on Porkulus with no stimulus resulting.

Recall that Hillary Clinton opposed tax cuts and rebates because the public would “just waste the money”.

Government has shown no sense in the handling of money. If it wasn’t for payoffs, there would be no rhyme or reason to their squandering of the public wealth.

But I’d like to see Krugman prove me wrong in a very deep lake a long way from shore.

And then another $800 billion was spent again in each succeeding year. I think that’s why the Senate has not passed a budget since the Stimulus was passed.

“increased government spending is key to economic recovery”

Tough argument to rebut: If increased spending doesn’t result in recovery, then we must not have spent enough money.

Krugman, the delusional marxist, might, with years of psychotherapy, regain some sanity.

Then, on the other hand, he just might be so insane that even a frontal lobotamy wouldn’t help. Couldn’t hurt, though!

Just to put government spending in perspective....

With just the deficit portion of the federal spending in the past 4 years ($6 Trillion), the fed could have cut checks to every single living human in the United States (regardless of age) for about $19,000. In my house, the guvmnt would have paid me about $76,000.

Some of those mamas without baby-daddys would be rich.

Krugman is just plain stupid.

Barking moonbats like him are stupid. And they spend most of their time patting themselves on the back about how effin “smart” they are.

And he gets his bona fides from other a$$hats like him, who know nothing, but profess to be superior intellects.

I went to NYU. They HATED ME. I KNOW FOR A FACT that the Krugmans of the world are so stupid, I don’t know how they get dressed in the morning.

Then I realized that probably their mommas help them. Its the only thing I can think of.

Krugman: More Government Spending Would Revive Economy in Two Years

Krugman is a moron. What has changed from the last 4 years?
Is he arguing that 32+ trillion$ total national debt will be an "improvement?"

Definition of insanity : Trying the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Talk to your esteemed statesman, Willie Clinton, Krugman. He loved to use that phrase.

“Krugman is a retard, he has to be”

No, the powers that be just know that if people really understood the scale of what has been done to them the civil unrest they fear down the road would be here now - today. Pretending there is a light at the end of the tunnel is just a stalling tactic while individuals are disarmed/de-fanged.

As a white man, the government has had official policies for years that were a de facto declaration of war (affirmative action); these policies have reduced the white birthrate to a trickle, and disenfranchised a whole generation. The United States has been sold.

Krugman: More Government Spending Would Revive Economy in Two Years

You could stimulate this economy for years and it would not pick up. The problem is the government regulations and policies won't let it up off the ground.

When economic conditions are right it will accept a stimulus and expand. This is why marxists economies always fail.

Hey! It just might work.. it worked once; to wit, "The Minister of the Economy was Hjalmar Schacht. He introduced his 'New Plan'. This plan intended to reduce imports, reduce unemployment, channel government spending into a wide range of industries and make trade agreements with other nations. Hermann Goering also wanted Germany".. whoa! Who? Oh well it's socialism so Krugman would like it .. and Obama.

You're brilliant, Krug. With the great recovery we've seen from the out-of-control spending the last five years, just imagine how much greater things will be with two more years of breaking the bank!

Oh please. I suppose we only need to keep affirmative action for another, what, 50 years too?

The only way this bad economy will be turned around in two years will be by WWIII. Of course, CWII could possibly nullify the debt...

Exactly. Obammie the Commie proposed absurd budgets for the past four years and the Dims gladly rejected them because if a budget is not passed, the preceding budget is the de facto budget, which has included every year for the past four years that initial 800 billion.

Fun fact: Before Marx there were Socialist utopians who believed a higher form of man would develop under socialism, that everyone should live in commune’s and that they would reject sexual relationships lol... Marx thought they were loons and would discredit his ‘work’ so he tried to silence them.
