I missed the discussion about measures being aimed to 'limit gun violence'.
The only measures I've heard discussed is how to prevent law abiding citizens from exercising their second Amendment rights. Discussions on how to disarm the law abiding citizenry. No discussions that I am aware of on how to dissuade gang bangers and inner city youths and criminals from shooting up folks. These day to day crimes dwarf those committed by the occasional, and freak event, lunatic.
Preach the fear of God and the judgment to come? Nah, just disarm the citizens and provide armed guards for the royals...
This weak ananlogy was already wearing thin in teh “gay marriage” debaet. Now the ‘Rats have exposed it by overuse as completely as bogus.
As for the racial suggestions? The problem here is that American minorities have been stripped of their racial pride, by demagogues, seeking to instill hatred & resentment rather than pride in honest effort, in order to control them as voting blocks. Do not fall into the trap of letting them make race--that is human heredity & the continuity of peoples--into something ugly. The ugliness comes in the process of substituting blame & envy for honest effort & pride in personal achievement.
The Left has been pursuing a terribly vicious end game strategy, at least since 2000, and too many Conservatives are playing into their hands, by responses that miss the essential nature of the tactics to which they are responding.

But wait, Clinton himself has said that he was the first black president, so the exception is naught. And how do we know that Soetero has always intended to confiscate ALL firearms, - there are dozens of proofs but the main one is his endlessly repeated statement that he intends no such thing. I’m all in favor of an honest discussion on guns and crime. For example, in Chicago, in 2011, only 1 murder was committed with a rifle. Does Tom want to discuss that? And in Chicago in 2011, roughly 75% of VICTIMS had a prior arrest record with the Chicago police. Does Tom want to discuss THAT? Perhaps he would like to discuss the racial aspects of crime - half of the murders and murderers are black. That number in Chicago is 75%. Is Tom talking about that?
For the life of me I can’t figure out why the media, virtually to a man, is opposed to the Bill of Rights. Do they imagine they’ll get to rule once government has all power, unopposed? Are they just hoping to be eaten last? Or is it just the natural filtering effect that anyone with natural intelligence and ability chooses a college major with substance and where work can be measured objectively, and the rest are left for urinalism?
And he wasn't trying to screw over his employers by taking away their guns. Minor detail, I'm sure it's actually the difference in race that accounts for the reactions. [facepalm]

Disarming the people of the world is a big time globalist goal. It leads to mass slaughter, like in Mexico for example, but globalists don’t like the possiblity that they might be picked off by the slaves they desire to control and rule.
Globalists also need to overcome our constitution in order to create a “more perfect union” under the UN’s rule. Americans have way too much power for their liking and we keep messing up “logical” plans for their rule. As Government Electric CEO says China has the most efficient and most ideal government for global business.
This is where they are coming from with their missives on global warming (UN taxation and Agenda 21) and condmening the constitutional rights of Americans. They have all come out against the freedom of speech and now they are huffing and puffing about the second amendment.
Most Americans have not a clue of what is intended by these citizens of the world.
