I’ll tell you what...you don’t need those nasty dangerous rounds......I’ll give you a mailing address and you can just send them to me....I’ll send you the same number of 22 shorts back...fair trade?
Hence the lack of enthusiasm for a gun ban among fly-over Democrats. Who wants to put their ass on the line so that Feinstein or Schumer can have have their gun ban? It's not like they have to worry about a voter backlash.
Honestly, I voted for Romney but when it comes to RKBA rights, I'm glad Obama won. Have no doubt, Romney would've pushed for the same gun grab Obama is going for only he would've faced less opposition from Congress.
LOL! Do they even still make 22 shorts? You must have been hanging on to them for awhile ;)
Here's a game we can play. Pin the Tail on the Franken.
In a carefully worded statement, Franken said he's "always supported the First Amendment rights of Minnesotans to publish newspapers and attend churches. But I also think we need to find a balance between those rights and the harmony of our cities and towns."
In a carefully worded statement, Franken said he's "always supported the Third Amendment rights of Minnesotans to be free from having soldiers quartered in their homes. But I also think we need to find a balance between the rights of homeowners and the need to house our military in our communities where they will soon be needed.
Who wants to try the Fourth Amendment?
He may not have to worry about his seat, but he really likes being Majority Leader.
Look at the Senate seats up in 2014, then figure that it’ll probably follow the pattern of previous mid term elections that take place during a President’s second term.
Gun control will turn a 50/50 shot at kepping the Senate Dem and turn it intoa serious GOP blowout.
A good approach right now would be to both hammer Obama on being anti Second Amendment while ticking off his own base be accusing him of selling out and caving in to the gun lobby.
