Rallies have been scheduled to protest Barack Obamas gun agenda, members of Congress are pondering their resistance and American consumers are speaking daily with ever-new records for gun purchases.
Now states are getting into action, with several legislatures already developing bills that would simply pull the rug from under the presidents agenda by specifying that unconstitutional rules or regulations, or executive orders, wont be allowed.
Rep. Kendell Kroeker of Wyoming introduced HB 104, The Firearms Protection Act, and spoke to WND about the bill.
The new bill expands to any gun owned in Wyoming and any gun regulation handed down that has to do with banning automatic rifles, banning magazines or gun registration will not apply to any gun, so long as they stay in Wyoming.
In Wyoming, they like to get right to the point, and the plan states, An act relating to firearms; providing that any federal law which attempts to ban a semi-automatic firearm or to limit the size of a magazine of a firearm or other limitation on firearms in this state shall be unenforceable
Texas also has started its work, developing a plan to block enforcement of those efforts that are in violation of the Second Amendment, which notes that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
Texas Rep. John Otto, R-Dayton, filed HB553 on Wednesday to make it a misdemeanor for state or federal officials to enforce or attempt to enforce any acts, laws, executive orders, agency orders, rules or regulations of any kind whatsoever of the United States government relating to confiscating any firearm, banning any firearm, limiting the size of a magazine for any firearm, imposing any limit on the ammunition that may be purchased for any firearm, taxing any firearm or ammunition therefore, or requiring the registration

Missouri House Proposes Jail Time for Feds Violating the 2nd Amendment
Missouri conservatives proposed a bill that will punish feds violating the Second Amendment with jail time.
The Tenth Amendment Center reported:
Introduced by Missouri State Representative Casey Guernsey, with 61 co-sponsors, is the Missouri 2nd Amendment Preservation Act. House Bill 170 (HB170) would nullify any and all federal acts, orders, laws, statutes, rules, or regulations of the federal government on personal firearms, firearm accessories, and ammunition
Alaska also has a bill soon to be passed to counter Obamas gestapo squads. But Alaska is yesterdays news.
This is a "medical marijuana law" for gun owners. If a federal ban on Modern Sporting Rifles or full capacity magazines is passed at the Federal level, no state law is going to prevent the Feds from enforcing Federal law on your arse.
We need to fight back as effectively and as viciously as any statist.
If they expect Obama to cut fed funds to states,it’s the Chicago way.
Is there state by state information somewhere? I’d love to know if Alabama is doing anything. I would like to think our state leadership is going to protect us from Obama’s evil plans.
Connecticut State Capitol; High Noon today. Be there!
Agreed. At the very least, this issue should be left to the individual states to decide. If New York wishes to ban magazines over seven rounds, it is up to their own citizens to either agree or to "throw the bums out" and overturn the law.
This is great news.
It’s amazing how many states feel the need to defend themselves from the African communist scumbag Ubama, first against his Mengelecare program and now against his gun grab Nazism?
I like it, we need these laws, but none have been passed. People can propose anything, signing them into law is a whole other thing.
Meaning that the people's and states' counter-proposals to Obama's gun control laws will go nowhere, because he will simply veto them.
Thank you!
They are “defense- phobes”.
