Tzipi Livni, leader of Hatnua, harshly attacked Bayit Yehudi chairman Naftali Bennett, in a behind-the-scenes incident that took place just before a televised interview pitted them against each other at week's end.
According to Walla! News, the two rode the elevator together before appearing on Nissim Mishal's show on Channel 2. Bennett initiated the conversation, telling Livni she had gone too far with a Facebook status in which she referred to a report that said Yitzhak Rabin's assassin, Yigal Amir, was going to vote for Bennett.
Livni allegedly told him: "I don't regret it; I don't even want to talk to you."
She also reportedly said: "You are an extremist, you are dangerous for the country and you do not know what democracy is."
Such harsh rhetoric in a behind-the-scenes exchange is rare in Israeli politics and may indicate that Livni's politics are ideologically and emotionally motivated, and that it will not be easy to get her to sit in a coalition with Bennett.

Who would be opposed to heated elevators?
Hopefully, she will reap the benefits of her attitude.
I don’t know. Tzipi?
Democracy: Cheap shots that I take on facebook.
What Bennett doesn’t get: How to take cheap shots on facebook.
Down and down the Left goes...
By the time this is all over one seat needs to be kept in reserve at the Knesset for the token Leftist to remind everyone else what they left behind.
Is Hatnuah the leftist party? I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to Israeli politics.
From the Wiki on the HaTnuah Party.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatnuah
HaTnuah (Hebrew:lit. The Movement) is a political party in Israel headed by Tzipi Livni. The party was formed by dissidents in Kadima, a party which Livni had led until March 2012 when she lost to Shaul Mofaz.[1]
Following its late 2012 founding, the party was criticized in the media as ineffective and capping its seat gain for the 2013 Knesset elections to six seats.[4][5] However, Livni’s former party Kadima was unlikely to cross the two percent threshold to enter the Knesset. Though Ynet published a poll on 30 November 2011 that showed Labor’s Shelly Yachimovich was less favorable as Prime Minister than Benjamin Netanyahu, Livni was slightly more favored.[6] Yachimovich had also criticized Livni for forming the party.[7]
On 1 December 2012, former Labour leader Amram Mitzna joined the party.[8] A second former Labour leader, Amir Peretz, joined the party on 6 December 2012.[9]
The party is committed to passing a Basic Law that deals with the protection of the environment.[10] The party also emphasizes that an attempt to gain peace with the Palestinians should be made.[11]
From my perspective HaTnuah is like Kadima in that they are just a bunch of Leftists trying to appear as Centrists. I’m sure Elutheria can explain in more detail.
What? Bennet wanted the elevator heated warmer and Livni called him an global warming eco-terrorist?

That and a fascist, of course.
Heated elevators are no doubt quite nice in cold weather. Why would they be having such a major argument over them? Must be expensive or something.
It being Israel, he probably was using an electric space heater, and she was scared it would tip over. He tried explaining that it has a pendulum safety device, but she just wouldn’t listen.
