It would be a lot of fun to get all the gun and sporting goods stores and enthusiasts together and have a competing but normal show at the same time.

Make them lose money and give that business to real patriot's businesses instead, all at the same time!

Somebody better go with a sign stating why so many are staying away,OR
The leftard news outlets will use this as a 'reason' people are opposed to firearms
& not buying them en masse like every other firearms show in the nation...

This is the typical problem when business in America is owned or managed by socialist foreigners.

After going to twice-a-year to these Farm Complex shows every year since the 90's, it is going to cause some withdrawal issues for me. Always one of the best shows in the Eastern U.S.

However, there are plenty of other PA shows all year long that should benefit from this fiasco.

Wow. One of the comments at the source says that Reed Exhibitions manages the SHOT Show.

That is correct. Reed Exhibitions manages SHOT for the NSSF. I already wrote to the National Shooting Sports Foundation to ask them to consider their ongoing relationship.

Yes, I want the NSSF to lean on Reed. IIRC, the contract with Reed is through 2014. I am usually an attendee at SHOT, rather than a distributor or manufacturer, but I wish everyone would contact the National Shooting Sports Foundation about Reed Exhibitions.

I didn’t really finish this story about the gun at Walmart. As I was leaving I ran into a guy I know who is now the sports dept. manager. I asked him to call me if he got another AR 15 in. He called me today and told me that had received one Colt M4 carbine. I left work immediately (thank God I’ve got that kind of freedom) and, to make a long story short, I bought the Colt (model number LE6920) for $1097. I’ve been bragging all day. They’re going for around $2500 if you can find one.
