Just once I would like to see a republican point out that the huge budget cuts democrats talk about, have managed to increase spending by 6 trillion dollars. Point out that if your pay decrease by 100 dollars, do you really get to spend more money?
The only reason they are doing this is to add new taxes as a way to get them passed.

Looks like the GOP announcement that they would be stopping Senate salaries unless a budget was passed worked after all.
Everybody knows these programs are out of control, and yet no one will do anything about it.
It is akin to being in a car driving into a brick wall at 90 mph, and none of the passengers want to tell the driver to apply the brakes.

All this means is that the House will do a budget, and the Senate, if Harry Reid lets them, will do a budget, and then it will have to go to a closed door reconciliation conference where the horse trading will begin in earnest.
Then back to the House and the Senate for an up or down vote.
And during the whole process, Barry will just sit there like an infected boil, at intervals threatening to veto it if it isn’t exactly what he wants with the Republicans getting nothing. But if they actually make a bill, he will sign it, while b*tching, then claim credit for anything good in it, and blaming the Republicans for anything bad in it.
The guy really is much like an infected boil.
