Sorry, but there should be a white dot over that giant pesthole called Austin.

Unless Texas ever needs an enema, there’s no reason for Austin to be here at all!

I know it’s kind of weird but, in a way, Austin lends Texas credibility. People can’t say Texas is the way it is because of lack of dissenting voices. It’s like the Republicans in the US Congress, they don’t really have any say, just gives the illusion of opposition. The goofballs in Austin obviously don’t have much say in state politics.

It’s easy for me to think of them in the abstract because I don’t have to live with them. Austin is the prettiest of your big cities though.

No, guns is one area that Democrats join Republicans - Dems have guns too in Texas. Guns aren’t political to most people here, they are a way of life. I think we will see Democrats voting for the bill to keep the feds out of Texas regarding guns.
