I hope people aren’t serious about having these laws in the US. I don’t like extreme displays of sexuality by anyone — male or female — in public but two men kissing should not be something that gets them put in jail. Give the government that power and you’ve given it a lot of power over everyone.
Speaking for myself, I am against gay marriage and the gay legislative agenda but do not want gay people put in jail for being gay or showing affection in public unless, of course, the same law applies to straight couples.
You’re missing the point. They have seen what happens when you tolerate it legally. They spread their propaganda and recruit young ones. The TV shows are filled with gay characters, they teach it in schools, etc.
the Russians are right. They arent seeking them out to arrest them. They are simply treating them like any other criminal motivated by some psychological sickness. And not letting them advocate their sickness in public. Good for them.
Up until the 1980's, it got them put into mental institutoons. The only reason they were let out was because Carters recession depleted the funding. They were considered non-violent (their lust for little boys was mistakenly overlooked).
They were suppose to return once a week for treatment, but escaped into the population.
They never should have let them out in the first place.

You are missing the point. All these Russian city, state laws and planned federal bill aren’t targeting homosexuals.
It is all aimed to prevent public display of such things. You still can practice your dirty business at home, if there are no minors present.
Straight couples may not be affected as soon the bill doesn’t target “heterosexual propaganda”.
