I think Texans should be careful what they wish for. One of the reasons my state has headed to the right is because the liberals are fleeing to greener pastures and Texans are advertizing the greenest grass around.

Yep. Back To The Future is in play here. The new liberal hellhole of TexMexifornia is taking shape from the growing migration of takers that sucked California dry. The major urban liberal sprawl is morphing into the burbs here. It's just a matter of time before the poles shift and Texas as we knew it will be long gone. LBJ's great society is coming home to roost.

I have a strong believe in God, but I think that “organized religions” should be ashamed for the pain and suffering that they bring on a daily basis the world over. Just look at all the wars that have been and are being fought in the name of this religion or that! They all lay claim to being the “true and only one,” and preach, as you do, that the rest are some sort of heathen stepchildren. And Christians can be as intolerant as any other group. You go on and on as an “all knowing sage,” but all you have at the end of the day is your faith or whatever you have that causes you to believe as you do. And who’s to say that you are right and the next guy isn’t. It is a disgrace to tar the Mormons as you do with your comment about their not knowing about love and hate. As a group, they are probably among the more decent folks on the planet. But their views don’t comport with yours, so they are fair game. And I guess you feel better about staying home from the polls, rather than “risk” someone whose religious views you oppose, and allow and avowed Marxist to remain as our president. You are, in your own way, just as dangerous to our freedoms as the RATS, and for that matter the Muslims, but my guess is that I will be treated to another round of your vituperative rhetoric for saying so.

Those who think only the the perfect and hard working honest are moving there are sorely mistaken.

As the CA state government goes deeper into the hole, there will be less $ for the low life here. They'll move on to another host, follow family etc.....This isn't really complex.

Look, there have been a lot of people over the past 5 years or so, literally begging for people from CA to move to TX...

Most of these beggars desired the deep pocket money from CA. hoping it would increase their property values or whatever.. This is no secret..

Even your governor was begging people come come.

And I have no problem with anyone wanting to move out of CA. We have too many anyway.

But the fact is, in our technology driven world, massive populations are not needed or desired in order to have a good economy. Fact is we have all but shipped most of the stoop labor and manufacturing jobs out of the U.S. anyway.

Those begging for more people from CA to move to where they are, are thinking money$$...Once again profits regardless of consequences.

They could care less that massive populations usually always mean more government, more taxes, more cops, more fines, fees, more crime, more traffic, more lines to stand in, more strain on resources, hospitals etc...It gets worse...

I suggest the beggars and those looking for CA $$, best watch what they're asking for.

It's why I've always said, CA could stand to lose 10 million people in my opinion...I'd like to see it around 28 million, down from nearly the 40 million already here..

Vituperative? Defined as “Bitter and abusive.” Really? I’m not bitter. I’m just right. :)

And not because I’m anybody special. I’m not. Jesus started this whole controversy. He’s the one who said if you don’t believe in Him, you don’t believe in God:

John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: [23] That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

So you see, it’s Jesus who started this thing about Christianity being uniquely true. So save your accusations of “vituperosity” for him. He’s the one who fails your political correctness test for not being “inclusive” enough.

As for me, I’m no “sage,” whatever that means. I’m just an ordinary yokel trying to follow his instructions, best I know how. And I fail sometimes. It’s not easy loving your enemies. But I’ll tell you what, if you’ll give it a try, you will get a blessing.

Peace,

SR

” I’m not bitter. I’m just right. :)”

That tells me all I need to know. Millions of Muzzie’s think the same thing! And they think they are also “following His instructions.” This is why I quit going to church. Everyone there were just like you. They “knew” that they were “right,” and by extension the billions of people who were not members were “wrong.” Which, I guess is O.K., but it didn’t end there. They spent a lot of time in their meetings speaking out against all the “other” religions.

LOL! I kind of thought you’d take it like that. My lib in-laws up in the Chicago area are exactly the same. I tease them too. It’s sooo easy. But it’s sad, really.

Sad because they, like you, are cultural Marxists. How so? Think what Marxism is. It is saying there are no meaningful differences between people, so all outcomes should be the same. No difference between man and woman (hence abortion, feminism, women in combat, gay marriage, etc), no difference between industrious and lazy (hence unlimited unemployment benefits for the lazy and unlimited taxation for the hard working), and no meaningful difference between any two systems of belief (hence multiculturalism, globalism, and the moral equivalency of all religions).

That last point is where I seem to be meeting you. But if I may, I’d like to show you a contradiction in your own reasoning. Game? Try this: You say it’s wrong for me to believe I am right. Now follow this closely:

A. If I’m actually right (even if accidentally so - I’m not that smart after all), is it wrong for me to believe something that is true? Would you like it better if I believed something that was false? How could one carry on a rational mental life if one had to always say “I think I am right, so I must be wrong.” That is a recipe for a mental breakdown of the first order.

B. If I am actually wrong, then for you to know I am wrong, you must know what is right, right? And if you are sure you are right about me being wrong, aren’t you wrong to feel so right? Just like me? Shall I now equate you to a Muzzie, because you think you are right? Aren’t you being a bit dictatorial in being so sure I am wrong?

Well, I’d love to hear your response to this puzzle. Honestly, it really is tangled, and I never have solved it. The best I know to do is to keep it simple and honest. Being a conservative, I must believe there is such a thing as true and false, and that truth can be discovered, in science, economics, religion, everything.

I further believe that libs and Muzzies are truth-challenged, and that it can be objectively demonstrated they are living off a pack of lies. If I did not believe this, I too would be a cultural Marxist, ever learning, but never able to arrive at the truth, because that would be making myself better than someone else, and that is the greatest sin in Marxism, the belief in individualism and exceptionalism, the belief in transcendent, universal truth. Such a belief tears at the very fabric of the almighty Collective. And where better to begin at stomping it out than religion.

But that’s just simple-minded me. I eagerly await to hear how you have solved the problem. Your move ...

Peace,

SR
