Wrapping up a report on Wednesday's NBC Today about Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's upcoming congressional testimony on the Benghazi terrorist attack, chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell sympathetically observed: "It will be a grueling day, first in the Senate, then in the House. Not how the Secretary of State had planned to wind up what is widely viewed as a stellar term as the nation's top diplomat." [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump]
At the top of the segment, Mitchell seemed to lament that Clinton would have to endure such questioning after recent health problems: "The Secretary of State has had to deal with a serious illness, amidst swirling and discredited conspiracy theories, but is now finally able to answer questions about security failures in Benghazi. After a fall, a concussion, and a blood clot, Hillary Clinton will face questions today Republicans have wanted to ask for months."

I saw a clip of her “emotional” testimony of how she watched them unload the caskets and “comforted” the families. Then having a hissy fit about being questioned in such a manner and screaming “what does it matter how it happened?”.

By stellar they must mean a giant ball of hot flaming gas in an huge void.
What in the world has she accomplished?

She should have testified within a couple of weeks of the event. That was well before she had her health problems.
That night, on local NBC 11PM news (WRC WASHDC), they mentioned her undergoing a grueling 5 hr questioning.
Funny most people I know work at least 8 hrs a day.
Biden gets an ‘atta boy’ for having a 2 day Dog & Pony show starting at 10AM ending? will imagine not much after 3 and probably including lunch.
So these clowns are considered putting in a grueling day for 5 hrs testimony, which in all due respect was BS and a waste of time ... maybe in the 5 hrs she got a couple of posers but she got weeweed off when asked a direct question and the ‘Who cares’ remark would have gotten most R’s run out of town.
Can you imagine John Bolton or Dick Cheney getting away with “Maybe a couple of guys just considered killing a couple of Americans” - “Who cares?”
When is someone going to put a stop to this BS?
Today BO mentioned Geitner(sp) was the best Treasury Sec ever, earlier Hillary the best Sec State, then having the unmitigated gall proposing Kerry and Hagel if this is his FIRST choice what kind of evil lurks for 2nd or 3rd choice.
If nothing, this is a hands on administration where I think the bowel movements are controlled by the White House or whoever is pulling the strings there.
To be given a pass on such an asinine statement as “This ruling in regards Women in Combat comes as a surprise” is just another example of these clowns pushing till some of us snap, THEN we will get accused of being nuts, then our weapons will be vulnerable.
Like Ayn Rand pointed out - (sorta) Make enough stupid laws to make everyone a criminal....etc
