Mark January 23rd as the launch date for the news media’s fresh campaign to have Hillary Clinton replace Barack Obama in the Oval Office in 2017. ABC and NBC, and CBS to a lesser extent, on Wednesday night treated Secretary of State Clinton’s appearances before Senate and House committees not as an chance to explore Obama administration dissembling on Benghazi, but as an opportunity to boost Clinton’s supposed brilliant performance.

“The indignation. And then, the tears in her eyes,” ABC anchor Diane Sawyer announced before trumpeting: “It was a valedictory that showed her indignation and emotion as she ends this tenure on the public stage. ABC’s chief global affairs correspondent, Martha Raddatz, brings us the riveting encounter today.”

An impressed Raddatz exclaimed: “What a way to end her four-year tenure as Secretary of State,” recalling how “a month ago, she was flat on her back with a nasty concussion,” but “today, this woman who has traveled the world as America’s top diplomat, came to the Hill ready for a fight.”

Raddatz touted: “It was a riveting drama. Secretary of State Clinton seen in rare public form, at times angry, aggressively on the defense. At another point, choking up over her four lost colleagues.”

Ihope you didn’t miss Hillary’s Oscar winning performance. She cried! She lied! It’s all fake!

We can all expect soundbites from that hearing to be played by LSM leading up to 2016 not as evidence of her incompetence and prefabrications and temper and pretentiousness and combativeness and inability and unwillingness to answer the questions but her leadership qualities in standing up to those big bad men. In fact it has already started.

Liberals are all about emotions, fake or otherwise.

“What difference does it make?”

I wish all those families would come forward & answer that question.

Hildemussilini's performance was almost as good as Dwight's.

I think it was the pounding on the podium that did it for me.

“What difference does it make?”

I wish a Senator had borrowed from the McCarthy hearings -
“”Have you no shame, Senator Clinton - Have you no shame” Four Americans were killed that could have been saved had you even read and acted on messages to you from one of your Ambassadors (not just one of 1-1/2 million junk emails). Then you and the President covered up the story, which still isn’t completely open. President Nixon resigned over his actions AFTER a botched burglary that didn’t make any difference in an election. President Obama was elected by a slim margin (300k votes in 4 states would have changed the result). He easily could have lost that many votes, and more, had people understood his complicity and failure to lead and take action that was available. His and your actions appear to be purely political, meant to save President Obama’s and your reputations. President Nixon could have thrown those supporting him under the bus early on as you have just done to Ambassador Rice, but he wrongfully had actions taken to try to protect people associated with his campaign and ultimately assumed responsibility for his bad behavior by resigning. Neither this president, you, nor anyone in the administration has assumed any responsibility - and now you are trying to blame things on the Republican House for not providing money.
HAVE YOU NO SHAME, MADAME SECRETARY!”
