Demographics are destiny.
As the 3rd World invades, they need Government to survive, and the Dems in Austin and DC are more than happy to take stolen tax dollars to support them, in exchange for a vote or ten.
I know Texas is different, but so was CA 40 years ago and now it’s an unmitigated Socialist disaster with $100K per year + COLA’s, fully healthcare-insured state workers start piling up, asking for more and more tax dollars to fulfill money they never saved or invested.
We are on a path that there will be two conclusions:
1. A drastic cut in everyone’s lifestyle (see Greece and Spain) where austerity will hit the old first, then Government, and crime and chaos will reign.
2. Civil War, where the inner city and immigrant takers will try to repatriate the money they are “owed” by the wealthy.
Either way, it gets real, real ugly. Hyperinflation. Civil unrest. SHTF. Be ready.
I look at this situation as a great opportunity for Texans to teach Democrats about the Constitution.
Texas can not be allowed to fall like California, seriously think of the ramifications.
This would be cash cow for any motivated Freepers to start a business to “help” the Dems invest their plunder in our state. It could be run after the Republican consultant model with same results. Everyone wins!

Going after Texas next worries me.
Soros was a big money supplier in the Colorado effort.
Oh and BTW big taxes for real estate and fees out the booty are how "slight of hand democrats" or wolf in sheep clothing, like Rick Perry, convince folks that his is a low tax state and he is a conservative republican...not.
If the Barnet Shale and Eagle Ford had not happened we would be in big trouble from out spenders in Austin.

As was suggested to me on a previous thread, we need to be passing laws now that limit illegal welfare (and enforce them even if some federal scum strikes them down) and pass socially conservative laws (anti-abortion) that will make the california parasites loathe to come here. Being fiscally sound but socially liberal will do nothing but invite trouble.
Just continue to leave the door open to Mexicans and the wrong kind of Yankees

I dont see how this is a diversion and not a real threat. It has happened numerous times. Rats get disinchanted with the hellholes they create and move to red states, but still vote like RATS. I hear TX is attracting lots of californicants which is worrysome. If they do turn TX blue either by blue state migrants or giving illegals the vote it will be many generations before there will be another Repub President.
Libs can’t win when there’s voter ID in place. Something for our side to push.
