Exactly.

If the Good Lord hadn’t intended cats to be widespread and favored, He wouldn’t have invented the Internet.

“Kill a cow? Yeah, sure.”

LOL. Crow not cow. I didnt actually see him do it but he was standing near the body and had blood on his claws. If that damn cat could kill a cow I’d be mighty worried.

Didn’t they learn anything from the Plague?

I’ve never had a problem with a cat pissing in the house and they are indoor cats only. Now, every dog I’ve had certainly did have problems with pissing and/or crapping in the house from time to time. I empty and refill the oversized litter box once a week by turning the heavy mil bag that I put over the box inside out. Put the box inside a new bag and fill with fresh litter. Less than 5 minutes, no muss, no fuss and no freezing my ass off picking up droppings in the yard or repairing the yellow spots in the grass. Loved all of my dogs but cats are better, more self-sufficient companions who greet me at the door and sit in my lap just like my dogs did.

There a host of improved traps that don’t piss in the house.

Ok, two things here. 1)-Seems you believe humans can do a better job than God. 2)-If you don’t want to risk a cat pissing in your house,,,don’t get a cat.

OK, had me thinking she had a pet mountain lion. One of my long previous outdoor cats used to kill crows as well. We finally started to keep all of our cats as indoor, neutered or spayed cats. Interestingly, once neutered and front claws removed, they behaved toward us much like our dogs. Best of both worlds without having to let them out a O-dark-thirty or clean up the yard after them.

Yet when they got rid of the cats in Europe during the middle ages, in came the bobonic plague.

Dogs come when you call them.

Cats take a message and get back to you later.

After one of our cats bagged a hummingbird, we took down our hummingbird feeder. We love the little critters but we’re not going to bait them in reach of our killing machines!

I had a cat that liked to play "fetch" - sort of. He'd come and drop one of his foam-rubber golf balls in my lap and I'd throw it down the hall. Interestingly, he didn't immediately run after it - he'd watch to see where it rolled, then bolt down that corridor and hit his target at full speed, rolling onto his side while biting and clawing at his "prey". Then he'd bring the tattered ball back and drop it in my lap, ready to go again.

As a house cat, he just felt the need to "hunt" once in a while, I guess.

Bull$h!it. If the idiot doesn’t talk about how WILD cats kill smaller animals, he doesn’t deserve to open his mouth. That’s the way things work in nature. Get used to it, idiot.

My little lady cat kills snakes, rats, lizards and roaches. What’s not to love?

I’ve never seen any evidence of her harming wild birds or having any interest in them, outside of when she was very little. My guess is, we spoiled her by feeding her “big birds” like chicken and turkey.

I have 4 cats. All are neutered. None are declawed. They are never let out, and if by chance they escape, they are usually at the front door in half an hour begging to be let back it.

I'm all for responsible pet ownership, but if I had a choice between making sure a cat didn't reproduce, and making sure a liberal didn't, there would be kittens everywhere.

When we were young, my sister owned a cat that hunted squirrels, and brought them home constantly.

Pretty impressive, actually, as they were full-grown, not babies.

My confound and lab were much better rodent control than any cats I had.
