Husband called them at corporate headquarters. They have recieved several calls and are starting to be concerned. Lets turn up the heat!

That's the point of getting the word out. Let them feel the consequences of their actions. Perhaps it hadn't dawned on them that their customer base includes a lot of gun owners.

I received the following reply to my emailed inquiry:

“Thank you for contacting Intuit.

We continue to process face-to-face transactions of firearms sales through Intuit Merchant Services. Consistent with industry practice, we are unable to process credit card transactions for certain highly regulated online businesses, and end those relationships when we become aware of them.

Sincerely

Intuit | Terry | Office of the President/Privacy |

Does that mean a "magnetic card swiped" is still honored vs an online card number/name/expiration/security_code is not? Does the FFL lose all processing services if there is an online and face-to-face configuration or does the face-to-face still work. The answer sounds like having any online aspect terminates the relationship.

AZHSer supplied: "650-944-6000"

I made my call this morning.

A young lady finally came on the line. When I described my issue, she immediately redirected my call to a message assuring me that I shouldn't leave a message as the mail box would not be monitored.

I will need to ask my son-in-law to choose a different manufacturer's product.
