There was once a school shooting in Pearl, Mississipi.
The shooter had a copy of a Stephen King novel in his locker, and the story line was the kid’s inspiration to attack his classmates. I don’t remember the name of that particular King novel.
A male teacher ran to his car and retrieved his personal firearm. When the teacher pointed it at the kid, he stopped shooting.
And Soccer Mommies should clean up the same while they bust up their kids in a car accident while they are texting and day dreaming about little Suzies piano recital.

It is amazing to me how a great thinker like King who could write a story link The Stand could be such a dolt.
The bottom line is that King is good at telling horror storys because he is skeered of everything.
He’s best as a short-story or novella writer. When he keeps it short, he writes some really good stuff, like the novellas “Stand By Me” or “Shawshank Redemption” were based on. It’s when he gets diarrhea of the typewriter that he goes way off track.
Seriously, WTH is the matter with this morons? These shootings nearly always happen in “Gun Free Zones,” so they want to turn the whole country into one?

He has a few that are good. The Stand is epic. Most though are crap.
