Dusty,
Totally agreed, that we shouldn’t support them. But I think to a very large degree, that has already happened.
I think they are more than happy reaching just half of the population and living off of that. They have taken large losses by forwarding their ideology over market share. They acknowledge it, and its a loss they have proven willing to accept.
That alone will not change the media, nor Hollywood. Most of Hollywood’s profits come from overseas, anti-American audiences.
All great points, Sample. We are about to witness another Hollyweird political event with the SAG and Oscar awards. I would love to see the ratings plummet for these Hollyweird masturbation (self-love) events but, unfortunately, it isn’t likely to happen.
And, of course, Affleck’s crockumentary “Argo” is getting the buz because the ignorant French liked it. Undoubtedly, the same crowd that devalued the Oscars by giving algore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” (which, as we know, has been proven to be “A Contrived Set of Lies”) will probably award Affleck’s dramatic crockumentary an Oscar, as well.
FYI, I live in the heart of fracking country and You can’t begin to understand the impact this is having around here. Small, dried up, dusty Texas towns are suddenly seeing growth they never imagined. Housing is in such short supply, that mobile homes are being converted into bunk houses with bunks being stacked as much as 4 high like they are aboard a Navy ship. And, unlike Affleck’s film and the false claims of the left, 99% of what is being injected into the wells to fracture the surrounding rock formations is plain, old water. Not poisons, unless Hollyweird thinks that what it drinks by the case-full is poison.
ANYWAY . . . . . . . (sorry about the unplanned, rant. Propaganda like this and Moore’s crap really ticks me off! So, whatever ideas you have that can help take a bite out of the left’s wallets, please share. Aside from what I have already shared, I am kind of out of ideas, at the moment.
Thanks for a great discussion.
FReegards,
Dusty
