Four shootings -- two of them double homicides -- and a stabbing left 7 people dead Saturday, authorities said.
The killings brought the number of homicides in 2013 to 40.
In what appeared to be the last homicide of the day, a 32-year-old man was fatally stabbed about 11:50 p.m. in the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
The stabbing happened during a domestic argument in the 2500 block of East 73rd Street, Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.
The man, identified by the Cook County medical examiner's office as Willie Wilson of the 2500 block of East 73rd Street, was found unresponsive on the scene. He was pronounced dead there at 11:55 p.m. with a stab wound to the chest.

Double homicides don’t make national news like “rampage shootings” do even though the one in Sheila Jackson Lee’s district in Texas turned out to be standard gun play between “dissed parties” with no deaths.

No, it's because the politicians know the gangbangers will just laugh at any gun laws they pass, and will kill them if they make any serious attempt to disarm them.
Gangsters simply mean business, and the politicians know that. If they knew that the law-abiding, patriotic citizens of this country meant business, they'd leave us alone too.

Why doesn’t Obama tackle black on black violence or teens getting pregnant, instead of running around chasing gay issues and women in combat in the military? He is looking the other way on jobs too.

They’re just hedging - some Saturday victims’ bodies might not be found until Sunday morning.
You asked rhetorically, “... Because all the shooters & victims are black?” So by “involvement” I mean in the sense there implied. Read the article.
