But at the first public screening Friday of the documentary After Tiller, the familiar specter in the corner of the theater was a uniformed police officer, and ticketholders were scanned by metal detectors on their way in.
The reason for the extraordinary security was After Tiller's controversial subject matter, and more important, its subjects: the four doctors in the United States who openly perform third-trimester abortions.

Yes....Barnum and Bailey, and all the other circus oddity purveyors used to exhibit freaks, geeks and other unnatural examples of human deformity. I’d say these four fit the bill on the physical side and are the penultimate examples of pure, pure evil, only surpassed by the Beelzebub himself.
It’s like having three Dr. Mengele’s “openly performing” his monstrous evil. I hope you are proud of yourselves, abortion vampires.
Hi Gaffer,”(The movie, which got two standing ovations at Sundance - one for the doctors - has not yet been acquired for wide distribution.)”
Doctors? Why don't they proudly call themselves what they are: Serial killers.
One website posted a photo of the doctors at Sundance with the caption "Murder Incorporated."
Indeed. They are certainly also part of the death cult that is the Democratic Party.
Tiller had been shot before, and threatened many times, but continued on until he was cut down in the middle of a church service.
What's the big deal? It sounds like Tiller just survived one failed abortion, but another abortionist wouldn't take no for an answer. Tiller, himself, would surely have seen this to be right and proper. He would have also said, "If shooting me isn't legal, it should be."
For many, of course, that mission is immoral, and for some, evil.
Of course, some people would complain if they were hung with a new rope.
Evil? When you are movers and shakers in a death cult, death is the goal. What's evil about that?
Here’s the money line, and closing quote “It’s like arbitration,” Carhart says. “You figure both people are going to leave unhappy, but fairly.”
One of them leaves dead, but you know that Doctor, you killed them.

They are treated like Hero’s.They forget to mention how much money they are making.Late term is done in a hospital.Abington refused to merge with Holy Redeemer because they would have to stop abortions here locally.
This stuff is so unreal to read.
Carhart, 72, is a registered Republican, although he admits, "I haven't voted for a Republican since Kennedy." He has been married to the same woman for decades, and calls himself a religious, though no longer churchgoing, man. In other words, he's hardly the bomb-throwing atheist baby-killer his most ardent opponents depict.
How strange that I can't recall hearing any pro-life activist characterize LeRoy Carhart as a bomb-thrower or an atheist. I guess it's something I just missed in nearly a quarter century of being a pro-lifer.
But let's see...
Bomb thrower? Not literally, and probably not figuratively, since these guys love to pretend they are pained and humble physicians called to a nearly monastic life.
Atheist? Obviously not. And he's in good company...haven't we all seen the photo of Joseph Stalin in his altar boy getup?
Baby-killer? Let's see...he stops the hearts of babies for a living. Whaddaya know, he is a baby killer?
I wonder, does the movie "After Tiller" talk at all about Christin Gilbert, the 19 year old woman with Down Syndrome who died of sepsis after her late-term pregnancy was aborted by Carhart and Tiller's clinic? Does it mention that both Tiller and Carhart invoked the Fifth Amendment to avoid testifying to a grand jury about the care Gilbert received the day she died? Somehow, I doubt it. That might get in the way of a hagiography.
Sigh. Indeed. Man's inhumanity to man. This intrinsic evil, a mother 'choosing' to kill her own child, is the work of Satan. And 'man' is so blind as to celebrate it?!
May God have mercy on our souls.
The medical profession shuns and views these false brethren with horror yet they agree to being profiled in such a documentary as heroes?!
Park City’s Temple Theater - a pop-up venue in a synagogue
OK , enough already ... I need a Jewish FReeper to explain why we are celebrating murder in a synagogue.
Not to mention, in an arbitration, both parties have representation. Who represents the child in the abortionists office? Not the mother, that is for sure.
Yes, it was a really strange remark. I’m not sure he didn’t mean arbitration between the doctor and the mother, but that didn’t make much sense either.
He’s demented, that’s what makes sense.
