McCain to GOP: Accept path to citizenship In immigration-"reform" bill
The Hill ^

Posted on 01/27/2013 9:37:31 AM PST by JohnPDuncan

Yes John, creating millions of new Democrat voters demanding free stuff is absolutely what the GOP needs

- Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said that the Republican Party has to accept a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants as part of an immigration-reform package.

McCain said on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday that a group of bipartisan senators would be announcing “principles” on immigration reform this week, which he said was similar to a plan unveiled during President George W. Bush’s second term that ultimately failed.

McCain said there’s one big reason that his party has to loosen its opposition to providing a path to citizenship.

“Look at the last election,” he said. “We are losing dramatically the Hispanic vote, which we think should be ours for a variety of reasons, and we’ve got to understand that.”

Look at California and it’s 23.4% poverty rate? No thanks.

It’s 16.8% in Texas and we think we have too many illegals.

It has been clear for at least a decade that the hispanic vote is a loyal part of the Democrat party moocher base.
And the GOP’s response is to help the rats increase their moocher base?

Pray for America.

Time for the senile McCain to go out to pasture in Az. The pubbies might gain a few Hispanic votes but WILL LOSE hundreds of thousands base voters. Lose an election and these moronic politicians want to reward lawlessness.

Well, McCain is a "maverick" don't you know... That's what the Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms call any Republican who is willing to smear his political brothers-in-arms. They love him (as long as he isn't running for election, of course).

McCain once again proves to be uneducable.
But then again, he finished at the bottom of his Annapolis class, and probably survived because of his four-star father and grandfather.

McCain was the author of the McCain-Kennedy Amnesty Act of 2007. Even with Democrat majorities and Bush and Rove pushing the bill, it was defeated when millions of Americans melted down the Capitol Hill switchboards and servers to protest this amnesty scamm.

What did McCain’s pandering get him in 2008? 28% of the hispanic vote, and a loss of 4 million voters from Bush’s total in 2004.

Around McCain’s eight mansions, you won’t see any ladder trucks or overcrowdwed homes with 20 illegals jammed in every corner. McCain’s kids did not have to attend public schools where the main language was Spanish. His visits to Navy Bethesda Hospital were not delayed with a crowd of illegals in the Emergency Room. He didn’t lose his cushy Semate job to Jose Garcia who would work for $10/hr off the tax books.

It is apparent that the RINOs in charge of the Republican Party, like in 2007, are going to jam amnesty down our throats again. It is a well coordinated full court press by the RINOs, the Chamber of Commerce types and the Wall Street Journal, the Democrats, the Media, the hispanic anarchists, and the unions to force America to its knees.

This time, they will succeed, and the Republican Party will be through. Probably a good thing, except that the new party will not be a conservative one, but a hispanic Partidad de la Raza once the hispanics reach 40-50% and decide they no longer need the Democrats.

It is a good time for an American to be old and near death so as to not have to live in this coming new (third) world.

This isn’t about winning elections.

The GOP-e is doing the bidding of their crony-capitalist masters in order to provide an unending source of cheap labor.

Nothing personal....just business.

This is just AMNESTY again.

It is also SERIAL amnesty since this provides THIRTY family members join the anchor.

The fact turbin durbin is in this mix speaks volumes.

McCain should have retired when he lost the presidential election.

The Republic 1s on the ropes.
Enfranchising millions more takers (illegal at that), I fear, will deliver the knockout.

Your comment bears repeating. Unfortunately gone are the days where elected POSs make pro US decisions sans getting reelected or worrying about their status.

It's simple. Their women want children, ours want to be lawyers and to serve in combat.

They win. Ask Darwin.

Sure, as long as there is NO PATH TO VOTING until actual citizenship has been attained and held for 10-20 plus years.

Conservatives/Republicans staying home turned the election. In order to win, conservatives needed to field a super majority of voters to overcome the illegals, felons, dead, animal, multiple voter blocks; instead, many sat it out because of one more RINO running as our candidate--moreover, one who either wouldn't or couldn't make the case against this admin.

Yes,the GOP is stupid, stupid, stupid to have let it come to this.

What is almost never mentioned is the academic and skills level of these illegals. They will not have the same traditions beliefs in hard work, family and religion as those who came legally and those who are 2d and 3d generation immigrants--legal ones.

Compromise on baseline issues like making people accountable for their actions does not glorify God.
