Thousands of demonstrators rallied Saturday in Washington to demand tougher gun control laws, many describing themselves as first-time capital marchers who've had enough of gun violence.
On a cold day, a vanguard led a blocks-long procession with a big blue banner, declaring "March on Washington for Gun Control: When we stand together, we stand a chance."

Meanwhile, they “missed” the March for Life, with 100X more marchers.

Washington Post today: "Gun-control supporters march on the Mall -- Nearly 1,000 people, including residents of Newtown, Conn. — where 26 people were killed Dec. 14 at an elementary school — call for tougher firearms legislation."

How much time and wide view footage did CNN and the rest of the MSM devote to the March for Life?

Looks like the “blocks long” was about two blocks and “thousands” were maybe one or two thousand. Then compare that the the number of paying participants at gunshows just this past weekend. “
Excellent observation, but even you’re being generous to call it thousands. What I saw in their sweeps was, maybe, 200 people. I didn’t see nearly a thousand.
So true. The only way to compare crowd sizes is with wide angle, preferably aerial, shots. When the MSM doesn’t use such shots, you just know they’re faking something.

(shrug) Some people might think 800 is "nearly 1,000". Subtract out the 200 media mice, the bussed-in union drones and the assorted other Ubama klingons and curious passers-by and you are left with a couple hundred actual goofballs who maybe genuinely have been successfully propagandized.
Remember the “Million Moron March” that claimed to have 750,000? They were busted with aerial shots that showed it was not even 10% of what the media was saying.

Probably paid “demonstrators” paid for by your tax dollars by checks issued from The U.S. Treasury Department and signed by Barack H Obama.

OK, lets compromise. What will YOU give up in order for US to give up some of our gun rights?
YOU GOT NOTHING except screaming and yelling! We got guns. There can be no compromise.
I had seen articles a few days back about this town and that town, in this state and that state, where filling buses to send to DC for this march.
So, most of the “nearly 1000” came off of a free lunch bus. But in all fairness to the organizers of the bused in demonstrators, maybe a bunch of the attendees went on a walking sightseeing tour of DC. That’s what often happens when these free bus ride things are arranged.
Since the many museums are free admission, and all clustered in a small area, it makes for a great day out.
Those B&W name signs look like they were made by the guy who did these.
Yep nearly 1000 people - I wonder if CNN made any mention of the 500,000 pro-lifers that marched...
