Stop amnesty now . tell your congressman to vote no on this Amnesty. THAT is the biggest battle call your congressmen, twitter them , email them ,protest on the street. it’s now or never people

http://www.gop.gov/republicans/twitter

After amnesty 30 million illegals will be able with their new citizenship to bring in 100 million of their relatives from their dirty socialist homelands and they theirs( chain immigration). That will destroy America. Amnesty has to be stopped and this Rubio is wrong on this issue. he can jump in the lake. Additionally an Amnesty will attract another 100 million illegals cause they know many illegal jobs will open up because the new citizens don’t have to do the illegal jobs as they will take Americans’jobs as if there are any jobs at all .

Rub to Rush :”I can only tell you about the people I interact with, and I can tell you the folks I interact with, once they get into this country and they start to work and they open up their own business, they start to understand the cost of Big Government. I see it every day firsthand from people that have been here about eight to ten years. All of a sudden, they have their own business, they have a bunch of permits that they have to comply with, a bunch of complicated laws. Their taxes just went up a couple of weeks ago even though President Obama has been saying it's only gonna go up on the rich, and the light bulb is going off that, in fact, Big Government, you know, rich means them even though they're middle class and Big Government means less opportunity for them. “

Rubio talks so sweet. He says these illegals will open businesses and rebel against upper end tax increases and demand spending cuts just like the Tea party does, after Obama signs the amnesty bill.

Wow, no wonder Obama and Schumer demand that they get to vote in elections.
What could go wrong there?

BTW : How come all the others before them didnt do that last November? ..

Rubio has thrown his lot in with Chuck-you Schumer, Bob “We want your women!” Menendez, and other worthless debris to attempt to foist an Amnesty on us. However noble his motives may be, by joining this Gang of 8, he has forever forfeited my vote.

Mr, Rubio, you have shown yourself to be a fool. I will not tolerate fools, nor will I work to see them elevated to positions of power. You sir, would work with those who seek to diminish and destroy this Country, and see the fruits of our labors turned over to a horde of illegals. This horde of illegals will only grow with the imminent promise of easy Citizenship and free goodies forevermore. Your argument of enforcement and Border security is a pitiful joke. Santayana said, “History always repeats itself; First as tragedy, next as farce.” You are participating in this farce of “Border security.” In fact, you are pushing this utterly diningenuous nonsense on folks such as myself in order to try to convince us that you are sincere in your arguments. To this, I merely say that either you believe us stupid, or forgetful. Probably both. Yet, we remember the promises made in Simpson-Mazzoli. We remember at the time it was passed that no such thing was going to happen, and it didn’t. Now, you are attempting to assure us that this time is different. Given our long experience with this Government, and the promises of Senators such as yourself, I believe we both know what will happen: nothing.

You are done, Senator Rubio. Alpha, Mike, Foxtrot.

Yeah, but, Senator, that's in a way the point, because, you're right, 1986, President Reagan agreed to outright amnesty, is called Simpson-Mazzoli. He was reluctant, by the way, but he did it, because he was promised border security. The border security never happened

And here we are 27 years later and we still haven't achieved that promised border security. And if the GOP goes along with his latest plan...30 years from now we'll STILL be waiting for a border security plan. If we're still around as a viable nation.

Instead of jumping to conclusions who don’t you wait and see how he votes on this. Once it comes up to a vote in the Senate, why don’t you wait and see how he votes, before you call him a RINO

[Article, quoting Rubio]
I am confident, I really am, maybe people don't share this confidence, I am confident that, given a fair chance, I can convince most Americans, including Americans of Hispanic descent, that limited government and free enterprise is better for them and better for their upward mobility than Big Government is. Because that's the reason why they came here.

Rubio's wrong. He's reasoning from his experience of Cubans and South Americans he's known in Florida. But we're dealing with mass immigration from Mexico, where cultural values and voting patterns are different.

Mexican voters have generational loyalties, and will continue to vote Socialist-Prog-Communist because that's how Grandpa and Great-grandpa voted back in 1927. People who know about Mexican cultural conservatism know that they're famous for it, for last-ditch, last-dog-dies loyalty to their political programs and leaders. Emiliano Zapata is revered even today in southern Mexico for that reason.

Mexican voters are left-wing to the core, with few exceptions, and they'll give the Democrats that 70/30 split Rush is talking about, until the last dog dies. That's why the evil Durbin the Turban was lit up like a jack-o'-lantern the other day after walking around with McCain the Quisling Traitor and Rubio the New Kid. Durbin knows the Dems will own the White House for 200 years if this goes through.

The Romney Wing of the Republican Party was always for AMNESTY...

They've always been for wage-breaking, even 120 years ago. The huge ocean liners of the White Star Line (Olympic, Titanic, Britannic) were actually built to haul mostly third-class immigrant passengers to America to ride half-owner J.P. Morgan's trains out to Morgan's railroad land-grant acreages and fructify those vast areas with their work and husbandry, and make Morgan even more galactically rich than he was.

If all three had been able to go into service simultaneously, the three big White Star liners would have been capable of bringing about 75,000 steerage-class immigrants to America annually.

The Republican Party has always been the party of unlimited immigration and near-zero wages and union-breaking, aka cost-control. Even Illinois gun-control laws had their origin in Republican state political machine union-busting in the 1870's and 1880's (Presser vs. Illinois, 1886).

(Art.) RUSH: Well, is that the reason that a majority of immigrants come to this country today? .... I've seen a number of research, scholarly research data, which says that a vast majority of arriving immigrants today ... believe that government is the source of prosperity, and that's what they support. ..... Are the Republicans stuck in the past in misjudging why the country is attractive to immigrants today?

Rush is correct to press on this assumption, because if it's wrong, Rubio's a fool and has been played by Durbin playing McCain.

It would also be helpful to know how many people in the GOP actually believe this, and how many are just using it as a line, to snow the conservative wing into going along with an open-borders measure that will give the Democrats the whole country for centuries to come.

Senator Vitter of Louisiana on Rubio.

snip

“I love and respect Marco. I think he’s just amazingly naïve on this issue,” Vitter said. “This is the same old formula that we’ve dealt with before, including when it passed in 1986, and that is promises of enforcement and immediate amnesty. And of course, the promises of enforcement never materialize. The amnesty happens immediately — the millisecond the bill is signed into law, and the same is true here. No, they won’t be citizens immediately. They will be legal.”

“Citizenship is guaranteed at that point as a practical matter,” he added…

“Look, as soon as you give these people a legal status, to say that you’re going to reverse that is ridiculous,” Vitter said. “It’ll never happen. As soon as you give them a legal status, they are here legally forever and probably they’re citizens pretty darn soon after. And if Marco thinks no matter what happens or doesn’t happen on the enforcement side that’s not going to happen, I just think he’s nuts.”

end snip

Rats will accelerate citizenship (read suffrage rights) as soon as they have the minimum votes.

Some leftwing lunatic in the chat room I go to, lamented earlier to day that is is a shame that the arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave has to go through so many hurdles to give the illegals amnesty

“why don’t you wait and see how he votes, before you call him a RINO”

That information came from my wife along with some of the statements that I have heard him make. He is for amnesty for illegals, for example. That is enough for me. My wife should know. She is Cuban-American with strong ties to Florida. :-)
