Distraught by his poor performance in front of the Senate Armed Services Committee, liberals viciously turned on secretary of defense nominee Chuck Hagel on social media.

Seriously. Not that I don’t appreciate the whipping Hagel took but why does he get a beating and John Kerry get a cakewalk.

Logic would dictate that, when a disaster comes before you, the only thing that you can make of it is, that it’s a disaster no matter how one wishes to look at it.

Obama just decided to withdraw Hagel and appoint Fidel Castro as his replacement.

Obama just decided to withdraw Hagel and appoint Fidel Castro as his replacement.

Castro would be an improvement over Obama himself deciding to take the job.

They had to pick the right hill to die on. Hagel is the right hill.

Have to agree with most here. That punk Hagel should be tossed like rancid food but fair to say the detestable Kerry should have been called out even more. This “well he’s a member of the club” stuff is sickening.

The DemonRATs are going to show America they can confirm a POS that slaps the Conservatives and throws it in their face. They are building confidence in their base for the 2014 elections. Hagel could have been a yellow dog with a blue strip down its back. DemonRATs could care less if it scores a point.

"Hagel is giving the Rats their Boom Boom time."

Spot on! That describes where the Obama Syndicate is as well as their POS Senators and Congressmen.

If Hell should freeze over and I was offered some cabinet post under a POTUS of any stripe, I would not even respond.

They are only figureheads, placeholders and somebody to blame when things go as expected.

Well, Cornelius, we have no choice! Schedule Senator Hagel... for experimental brain surgery first thing in the morning--

Compared to Hagel's testimony, mine... was down right brilliant!

What difference does it make? Only Fox and Rush... will cover it!

Yeah, Hill, but don't forget, here in Spain... we get Al Jazeera and they covered Chuck back in 2009--

Hagel insulted his fellow Senators by saying they were afraid of the Israel lobby. It was obvious from Lindsey Graham’s confrontation with Hagel that this was a sore point.

“Did they know nominating a Pub slightly at odds neocons and the Isreal Lobby..”

You again. You just can’t keep from denigrating Israel. And you might learn how to spell it while you are at it.

And Hagel is not”slightly at odds” with people who care about Israel, he is anti-Israel, period.

I think they were happy to get Kerry out of the US Senate. Although he is a traitorous scumbag fraud, GOP figured maybe they could grab the seat held by Ketchup Boy. Hagel???? What can you say about him? He is truly mentally deficient and an opportunist borderline traitor. I say this despite his service in RVN. He turned against the US in time of war from within the US Senate.

How have I denigrated Israel, except not to pretend their borders are ours?

I don’t understand this hypersensitivity, whereby any criticism of Israel is being “anti-Israel.” It’s not as if Hagel wishes to invade Israel, or even stop being their ally. Surely the world, especially leftists, have held Israel to unfair and often hypocritical standards of conduct. But two wrongs don’t make a right, and you can’t correct that imbalance with your own equal and opposite bogus standards.

By the way, are you aware it’s possible to know how to spell something and nevertheless spell it incorrectly on occasion? Or shall I track your posts and demonstrate?
