It is a well-known fact that nobody in Congress ever reads, or even skims, any law, and especially not the fine print, it passes until long after it has been enacted into law. It appears the same is just as true for the biggest pillar of support for the Obama administration: America's labor unions, whose liberal vote every election is instrumental to preserving the outflow side of America's welfare state. As it turns out, it was the same labor unions who enthusiastically supported the primary accomplishment of the Obama administration in the past 4 years, Obamacare, only to realize, long after it has become reality that, surprise, their healthcare plan costs are about to go up. And, as the WSJ colorfully summarizes, they are now "turning sour."

On my wifes W2 the employer lists healthcare expenses ,,, over $14,500 ,, and that’s with us being a relatively young family and with OUR portion being almost $10,000 ...
Next year or maybe the year after she’ll be out of work , they won’t be able to operate without laying off huge numbers...

The Supreme Court upheld the ACA specifically because it was understood to be a tax. Exactly what taxes is the executive branch empowered to waive selectively? Expect any waivers to be challenged in court.
He’ll have to look at the melanin makeup of each specific union before he writes the waiver, though.
That’s what statists always do - use the power of the state to reward their friends at the expense of their enemies.
Unions wanted single payer. They settled for Obamacare as an intermediate step. This is all predictable. Nobody is supposed to be satisfied with Obamacare, especially not the most staunch liberal constituencies who don't think it went far enough.
I completely agree. The Dems will blame every problem on "obstruction in the GOP" to fund short-term and stop-gap measures. The Dems will say, "we knew it wasn't perfect when we passed it, but something had to be done."
This issue should be a winner, served on a silver platter for the GOP. I pray they don't get cornered into somehow voting to fund ANY element of Obamacare. Let the entire program wither on the vine and die a horrible death.

This is infuriating because this is *exactly* what we’ve been telling these idiots for years, and they wouldn’t believe us. Now, we get sucked down the same carphole they do.
That is it in a nutshell my friend, you hit the nail on the head. That one concept needs to be shared with everyone you/we know.
