US Appointing An Aussie General To Command Its Pacific Troops (New World Order).
Business Insider ^ | Feb. 1, 2013 | Robert Johnson

As the Pentagon pours attention and resources into the conflict-ridden Asian-Pacific theater, it's made an unheard of command choice. The AP reports Australian Maj. General Richard Burr is now Deputy Commanding General for Operations at U.S. Pacific Command (USARPAC) out of Hawaii. It's the first time a non-American has served in such a high-ranking position at this type of command. This isn't some out-of-the way little military base — this is the command led by Major General George Moore in the days after World War II. Moore fought at Battan along with enough other dark Pacific campaigns to fill a wall map. This command today will be pivotal in organizing and supplying military operations in the region, and key in building U.S. projection within the Asian theater.

Good - maybe the Australian General will be more interested in strategic defense issues than the social engineering ours seem to be obsessed with.

With all due respect, an Aussie general will do fine.

Let us not forget that the bat-eared-b*stard is doing a fine job of selecting the most politically correct generals he can find in our own armed forces.

And consequently, we’ll get a lot of Colin Powels.

I’d rather have the Aussie.

When the US and an allied country have troops under the umbrella of a single command (such as USARPAC) it is customary and not at all surprising to servicemen and veterans that it will be commanded by a US General, with his Deputy Commander being from the allied nation whose soldiers are under the US command.

This is not a new innovation or even a recent development.

In the 1980s, your humble correspondent served under a joint US/South Korean command, with a US Commander, a ROK deputy, staff from both nations— even co-equal Sergeants Major.

In 1944 your humble correspondent’s uncle, then serving in the 101st Airborne Division (not E/506th, unfortunately) was under the command of General (later Field Marshal) Bernard Law Montgomery, who commanded all ground forces for Overlord under the SAC, General Eisenhower.

Without further researches, I am reasonably certain that similar arrangements were frequent, even prevalent, in both World Wars, and continue in every overseas command (including USARPAC in Hawaii and CENTCOM in Florida) where allied forces serve an alliance (NATO, SEATO etc.) without any conspiratorial skulduggery involved.

Thank you. After the way General Mattis was let go I was really worried and I just read his bio.

Another interesting point in the article...
“Together the men will package and deliver troops to locations U.S. forces haven’t been in decades.”

Remember.....anyone who supports Free Trade Communist Globalism supports the surrender of US authority and sovereignty to foreigners...and unfortunately we have a few of these types that post on here.

Our US Armed Forces should never have to answer to a foreign army. Only a Free Trader Communist Globalist believes in this nonsense. This is Treason

Nonsense. This officer is not being appointed “Commander”. He is the Deputy Commander. We have done this with Canadians for years as Deputy Commander at Ft. Hood’s III Corps as well as at the North American Air Defense Command (NORAD). Brits have served as Deputies in both Iraq and Afghanistan. When ignorant people write ignorant articles making ignorant allegations, you are left with a pile of horse poop.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Blamey

One of the first times this was done was under the command of Australian Major General Thomas Blamey.

“In 1942, he returned to Australia as Commander in Chief of the Australian Military Forces and Commander of Allied Land Forces in the South West Pacific Area under the command of General Douglas MacArthur(PBUH).”
