City Announces Next "Guns for Groceries" Program

The city of Lansing has set February 9 as the date for it's next gun buyback program. It will take place at the Tabernacle of David Church at 2645 W. Holmes Rd in Lansing, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The "Guns for Groceries" program will exchange Meijer gift cards for operable guns. People who turn in a long gun will receive a $50 card, $100 cards will be given for a handgun and a $150 card will be given for each military-style assault weapons.

I have an old .38 I’d love to sell for $100. Too bad it would take me several days and $300 worth of gas to get there.

I might have to let them “buy back” a few.. Got 3 old junk revolvers in .32 rimfire. Couldn’t sell ‘em at the show for $50.
