And while successful retailers in 2012 may add stores this year, those that have performed very poorly may have to cut locations during 2013 to improve margins or reverse losses.

For many retailers, the sales situation is so bad that it is not a question of whether they will cut stores, but when and how many.

“If this is true, our local mall will be decimated.”

An unsuccessful and dangerous mall is in direct correlation to the number of sport shoe stores that fill storefronts. Be very afraid.

The remaining Euro-Americans can’t stand being around the members of the permanent underclass they have to deal with to visit said stores.

It's not just a “can't stand” attitude. Wisdom is involved.

Honestly....Who wants to be flash mobbed and beaten to a pulp? The contempt, resentment, and outright hate emanating from some minority groups towards whites is palpable and is in direct proportion to the percentage of minorities in the immediate surrounding area.

Can you still buy a radio in Radio Shack?

I remember before Radio Shack bought out Allied Radio. Allied Radio sold Knight Kit Electronic kits. Heath Kit was another one. The kits were about 2/3rds the price of a ready-made item. It was fun to build your own TV, Stereo, or Ham radio.

You know I hate to agree with you but it’s true. In Queens the biggest and busiest department store was Alexander’s in Rego Park. The parking lot was so packed that there were 6 or 7 auto thefts there every weekend. Then the clientele became very immigrant hispanic and middle eastern and the Queens ethnics, even the Jews from the area began to shop somewhere else. It was a cacophony of languages with English being in the minority and often heavily accented. People got in their cars and drove to Roosevelt Field on Long Island. Alexander’s lost profit and gained loss and went belly up. Today the site is a mishmosh of things like Mandee’s, and a host of others. the lot is half full and often it’s people going to the medical group across the street. Sad but unfortunately reality.

I shopped at Sears for many years, as did my mother- especially for appliances. The main reason I shopped there was for the great customer service they had at one time. Sears has stopped providing customer service so I might as well buy cheaper elsewhere, no reason to buy from them.

“you still see 5 or six droop-drawered a’holes walking ABREAST against the flow, daring you to do something about it.”

I rarely go to the malls around me, but most of them are inaccessible to those types. I mean, I guess they can take a bus there, but how bad-ass is that? There used to be a bit of white trash loitering there (the malls were built in nearly-rural areas), but they didn’t bother people.

I agree, but in our areas those stores are often segregated. The whites frequent malls further west that are nearly inaccessible to the underclass, while the underclass frequents those along mass transit routes (such as in Jersey City).

“even Chik-Filet closed up last year”

A LOt of us would like to know the story. Did they ultimately side with the Meat Packers, or did they stay wedded to their values.

I don’t know...so I wait to see the outcome.

I believe the Chik-Filet that I mentioned closing, did so because of a lack of business due to the Mall it was located int being a ghost town. Down in S. MS, their values are a plus and there were no boycotts. Hell, even Elementary School teachers aren’t afraid to admit they’re Christians down here.

My last three significant appliance purchases were at Best Buy, Lowe’s, and Home Depot.

To my surprise, I had no problems at Best Buy, but the shopping experience sucks (throbbing rap music fills the store).

Lowe’s was impressive, OK on price, outstanding on service.

Home Depot sucked. Even the employee that I dealt with agreed. Defective returns go right back on the shelf waiting for another sucker to come along.

My friend bought appliances from Sears, and had a lot of trouble with the appliances themselves, and with his treatment by the store. He will never make that mistake again.

Any Sears store is relentless in asking for a phone number, and offering various charge accounts and credit cards (with a $15 discount) every time you buy something. It’s annoying, as is waiting at the counter forever waiting for someone to take your money, when there are store employees standing around doing nothing.

Radio Shack is useless. My local store had some sort of transsexual working there, which made the experience interesting, to say the least. He was friendly and helpful, though. At least they have gotten past the demand for a name and address on every little purchase. That annoyance kept me out of the store for years and years.
