After enlarging the photo, I’m comfortable that it is a photo taken while the gun is actually recoiling. The front sight (fluorescent rod-type) is blurred upward and to the rear at a 45 degree angle (as is the gold muzzle device, and the ports. At the rear, the trigger guard shows mostly rearward blur. This is consistent with firing.
I still suspect he’s shooting at a stationary target at eye level, and not “doing skeet”.
I also marvel at the quantity of smoke. I’d like to see a picture of any other shotgun giving off such a dramatic cloud of smoke.
August 4 was his birthday. He teed off at 9 AM and played for 6 hours, then went to Camp David for a party.
Do they really expect us to believe he went skeet shooting late in the afternoon of his BIRTHDAY? He had guests waiting for him up there.
