Media Follows Obama's Orders to Mock Skeet-Gate Skeptics
Breitbart ^

Some of you younger folks might not remember this, but there was a time when the media questioned Power. No, really, once upon a time, the media saw it as its duty to be forever questioning and skeptical of Power, especially when Power was in pursuit of more power.

Today, however, the White House released a photo that purports to show Obama (love that tucked-in shirt) shooting skeet last August. Except… he's shooting straight ahead, which means that there's either a barn door somewhere in need of some patching, or Obama is such an awesome skeet shooter, he hits them as they come out of the firing device.

Because the photo is odd, some are asking perfectly legitimate questions.

But not the media.

What did the media do?

Because the media no longer questions or is skeptical of Power, and instead sees its role as protector of The State, the media mocked those who were skeptical:

If anybody goes after Obama with a paper gun, he's got them beat.

I read elsewhere that even the Dems were a little uneasy about releasing this photo, fearing a Dukakis moment...and rightly so. That’s why the photo was released with an unusual warning not to alter it (like putting a little “Bang” flag at the end of the gun), etc.

There is normally a prohibition on using a government photo for commercial or endorsement purposes, but not one forbidding people from “manipulating” the image. Fortunately, this has no legal impact, because government photos are in the public domain. But you can see that even they realized that it was a joke just waiting to happen.

Once upon a time the media would not show what communist they are since they would be put in jail or sent packing..Those days are over the media shows us they are pathetic piece of trash that hates this county and wants to see it in ruins..

Two observations:

1) This must really be getting to Marxist

2) This POS would have no chance with out his corrupt media cheerleaders.

Sorry, but I don't think this limp-wristed faggot even knows how to hold a gun.

” Except… he’s shooting straight ahead”

That struck me the minute I saw the picture too. Then I wondered if maybe it was taken before they started, as kind of practice shots before they started launching the clay pigeons)
There was a report by someone who witnessed him skeet shooting at Camp David, saying that Obama didn’t enjoy it and couldn’t wait to get away from it. (not that any of that verifies the photo being taken while skeet shooting)

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed how bullying is the principal tactic of the anti-bullying Left?

I don’t care if the photo is realistic, if he shoots skeet or anything like that. I just like making fun of the idiot.

From as far back as Theodore Roosevelt, the news and entertainment outlets ( movies, literature, theater) have been very supportive of Progressives. It is not one political party they champion. it is Progressivism. At this time, the Dems are its most aggressive supporter.

You all better be careful. There were some specific marching orders given to the press about the release and use of this photo.....Tee Hee

Folks this is VERY IMPORTANT.

Ask WHY?

Why are they doing this? Why bother?

It is very important to them that they cover up their end goals in all things, otherwise they can’t incrementalize their way to that goal.

It is very important that they appear to support hunting and sporting use of firearms to hide their true goal of total confiscation.

Don’t just discuss “skeet gate”. Make sure you directly confront the WHY of it.

The committee on public information was a propaganda machine that supported Woodrow Wilson. It consisted of mostly mediatards and PR experts. It was headed by George Creel who was a newspaper editor, labor leader, and failed democrat politician.

"an open mind is not part of my inheritance. I took in prejudices with mother's milk and was weaned on partisanship."

WE have to remember that guns used for skeet are good guns. They don’t kill anyone like those bad old Assault weapons.

Skeet guns are well behaved, while those bad old assault weapons are likely to go off in a school full of kids at any monute.Even while laying in the trunk of a car while those bad old pistols with big magazines do the shooting.

If he really is a skeet shooter why doesn’t he accept Marsha Blackburn’s offer for a friendly afternoon of skeet shooting?
