Syria Ready To Strike Israel With Scud Missiles, Whatever The Consequences
Allvoices ^ | February 2, 2013

Pro-regime Syrian newspaper Al Diyar reported Friday that the army has loaded four Scud missiles, each with an explosive head of 500 kilograms, and is ready to strike Israel.

The newspaper also stated that the Syrian army command held a meeting Thursday evening to discuss a response to Israel, including striking research centers in Tel Aviv.

Mohammed Dirar Jammu, head of political and international relations at the World Organization of Arab expatriates, said to pro-Syrian regime TV channel Alakhbarya that "the Syrian military response to the Israeli bombing of the research center, in Damascus, will be earthshaking and staggering to Israel, very soon."

Jammu added: "The Syrian army will direct a strike to Israel. The strike will not be through Hezbollah or Iran, as the era of the Syrian silence towards the Israeli bombing of Syrian sites is over, even if it led to the outbreak of a war in the region."

But does Israel want to help the rebels? I doubt it.

Israel would target the most dangerous hardware first, regardless of its possessors.

But yes, Netanyahu is the guy who gave Hebron to terrorists and resurrected Hamas by freeing Sheik Yassin, and now he’s got renewed leftist strength in the Knesset and a hostile American government pushing him to surrender so anything’s possible on the negative side.

IOW, the Assad despotate will go to any lengths -- in this case, analogous to George Costanza driving his near-in-laws to the end of Long Island -- to cover up the fact that it was trying to transfer SA-17 missiles to Hizbollah.

So, when a Scud gets nailed while still racked on the launcher, what kind of a mess does it make?

Assad might be seeing this as the only way out of his situation. Call on his countrymen to end the bloodshed and focus on the true enemy, Israel. The scary thing is... it might work, especially if Iran gets involved.

I hope Netanyahu is prepared for war. Pray for the safety of the Holy Land and all its inhabitants.

R. V. Jones in his wonderful book, “The Wizard War” said that the issue with the V2 as far as the intelligence community was concerned wasn’t “How did they do it?”, but rather “Why did they do it?”

It is estimated that the Germans spent more on the V2 program than the U.S. spent on the Manhattan Project. (The U.S. also spent more on radar research and development during the War than on the Manhattan Project, and radar was actually more important. Radar won the War, the A-Bomb ended it.) It’s hard for the victims of V2 raids to appreciate it, but German rocket research actually aided the allied war effort by diverting resources away from more useful endeavors.

That makes a ton of sense. They’re up to their armpits in a rebellion, and they pick a fight with the very capable neighbor next door.

That might make for a great distraction and unite them all to fight against Israel.

If you’d like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

..................

More likely Iran will force Syria to strike, with pseudo Russian backing.

Or, should Assad become desparate, and that's not the direction things are going in, he could go down in Islamic history striking the Jews. Might be worth a sermon or two.

In the history of man, how do you get a rebellion to stop attacking you?

Get them to hate someone else, more.

Syrai attacks Israel, Israel retaliates and maybe kills some civies. Syria’s domestic problem solved.

Wow Isaiah chapter 17 is one step closer to making Nostradamus the doper and those Mayan peyote eaters look like heathen ba'alists from Jezebel's troupe. Thirty-seven hundred years ago and a prophecy may come true, only was not Isaiah sawn in two by Manasseh not stoned such as the above while fools from Moscow to DC and points in between frame their plans as God laughs

Precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little. Curiouser and curiouser as evil little prick heathens, high healed dictators and bloody cults are running full speed into one hell of a grand finale.

I hope the prices on popcorn don't go up for awhile, this could be bloody interesting. Everyone is locked in like they've all got hooks in their jaws. But alas, the unicorn, rainbow farting MSM would never consider a book, THE BOOK that has declared the end from the beginning and never once been wrong

Must read Psalm two, no, must memorize every word. Damascus, best take pictures and buy some old National Geo's because, who knows when but it just may be rubble worse than those big old Buddhas the talibunnies bloweded up.
