Memo to the President:  In case just for a moment you really do wonder why businesses are not expanding, why their anxiety level is high, why the sense of uncertainty continues 43 months after the economic recovery supposedly began…just look in the mirror.  Not just for another opportunity for self-adoration, but for the root cause of our economic stagnation.

According to results of a newly released Gallup poll, the top five concerns of small business owners are healthcare costs, taxes, energy prices, regulation, and the debt ceiling – all that have increased significantly under the Obama administration.  Worse, if the President gets his way, all five of these business anxiety concerns are likely to go up even more during the second term.

Here's what Gallup found:

There was a hopeful uptick in confidence in September, when there seemed to be a chance of getting rid of The First Marxist. The real plunge in GDP occured after the election. However, the Obamedia will never acknowledge this unpleasant fact.

Hmmm... 69% said immigration policies were having no effect on their business. Maybe because we have no immigration policies?

I have a consulting business where I develop business solutions for business analytics and automate time intensive tasks. I do a lot of work in the medical world, and my clients are getting killed by 0bama care. The 2.3% excise tax on medical devices is killing margins, and driving companies out of business. One client lost a $21mm customer. I lost him.

I still don't understand how the government could expect to insure 30mm new people and not drive up costs.

But I guess they had to pass the bill to find out what was in it.

Why do folks continue to suggest Obama is ignorant of the effects of his policies?

Obama’s plan has always been the destruction of America, due to his anti-colonial beliefs.

That means he believes America achieved it’s success and it’s wealth at the expense of the third world, and then used that wealth and influence to oppress the rest of the world.

THAT is the “fundamental change” he speaks of!

Crushing America’s productivity, energy consumption, freedom, access to meaningful healthcare....

People are simply afraid to assign malice as his motive, out of fear of being declared racist or alarmist.

The facts are there for all to see.

"I still don't understand how the government could expect to insure 30mm new people and not drive up costs."

I do a lot of the same work that you do. Thinking like a consultant with logic and reason is an impediment to discovering the goal - control by an all powerful central government over life and death. Reagan had a great radio address in the late '50's or early '60's about this.

The 2.3% excise tax on medical devices

Only government could come up with something called "The Affordable Care Act," impose taxes on medical devices, and then claim that it would REDUCE the cost of medical care.

It really is astounding, but nowhere near as astounding as the number of people who believed it!

So what small businesses are telling us, is that their number one concern is OBMA!

Naturally, one of the first steps in fomenting a Marxist revolution is to render the populace utterly and irretrievably discontented.

What better way than to ruin the economy by making it impossible for business owners to run their affairs without falling foul of some self-important commissar somewhere...

It might come back to bite them if the government -THEIR power center - is what everyone outside is discontented with.
