The home of two Wright State students was invaded Monday evening in Fairborn, ending with one of the alleged intruders dying from a gunshot wound.
According to a Dayton Daily News article published Monday and updated Tuesday afternoon, “Police said Tuesday that it is still a bit unclear what prompted the five individuals, ages 19 to 23, to force their way into the Victoria Avenue home while brandishing a fake plastic gun.”
The article continues, “Two Wright State students were home when the intruders entered. Trent Seitz, 21, reportedly struggled with the men and was ordered to the floor. He called out for his roommate, Christopher Muse, who told police that he grabbed a gun and fired at the men.”

Five guys break into a home, wave what looks like a gun, and order one of the occupants to lie on the floor, but it’s “unclear” to the Communist UK Guardian “what they were up to.”

I thought it was the UK Guardian at first, too, but it turns out that Wright State Univ’s newspaper is called The Guardian.

I know, it was just another Fraternity hazing gone wrong. If you are going to break into someones home and threaten them with a gun it better be areal gun. These morons are lucky only one of them died! I probably would not have stopped until I shot all of them at least once!
Hopefully those young men pay for their drugs next time.
But even so, it’s always nice to see bad guys on the losing end.

Taking a plastic gun to a gun fight really ain't the smartest thing I have ever heard of.
But then again, if Jesse and Rev Al and Prez Broncho think there is something (money or political) to be gained, we may now have another Travon Martin saga.

For the last couple of years, Ohio has been “freedoming up” its gun laws, and I imagine it takes perps some time on the learning curve before they discover that an armed society is not just polite, but downright courteous. Or else.
