How about some guy getting cornholed?
The symbols I would use would be a boot on the neck or a gun aimed at the head.
I would draw an AK47 with a 30 round Mag on it with a Swastika in the background and see what they thought of it.
The vast majority of 1st graders today are going to be full blown communists by the time they finish school.
Yup, another reason to homeschool.
Cheers!

So no actual students were tasked with doing this, right? This is one of 1,600 “lesson plans” on this online system? I’m not at all shocked that somebody in the schooling industrial complex managed to get something like this instituted as an example lesson plan—they probably let teachers upload whatever they want—but I’d be surprised if a school in Texas actually had kids do this.
They should let me teach this lesson (though I’m not a teacher). I can tell the kids what sort of symbols might be ideal. A fat party member riding around in a limo, for example, or firing squads of those pesky evangelical Christians, or starvation in labor camps.
Or Sean Penn.
We need to return to our roots and buy alot more rope!
Sedition?
It is WAY past time for idiots like this to be tarred and feathered. IMO this crap will not stop until it is harsely dealt with.
They started small, through the back door and grow bold of late. We have to work small too. First we change Presidents Day back to George Washington’s birthday...or Martin Luther King day to Civil Rights Day. This is a start on bringing back our history to our kids.
I would show mass graves. Then a statement about how many millions of people that socialists and communists killed in the 20th century.
I’d probably get kicked out of school.

Read the comments at the end of the article. People are furious, especially grandparents who are probably more knowledgeable about socialism than their sons and daughters.
Why is there so much secrecy surrounding this curriculum? Why can’t teachers discuss it, why can’t parents see it? What parent in their right mind would send their children to a school where they don’t have access to their children’s learning materials?
Why did this happen in Texas, of all places?
