Attorneys for George Zimmerman will try to get his murder trial delayed at a hearing on Tuesday, what would have been Trayvon Martin's 18th birthday.
It was nearly a year ago when the teenager was shot and killed by George Zimmerman. While the debate continues on what happened that night, Martin's parents plan to celebrate their son's birthday in South Florida.
"They wanted to have a birthday party, as opposed to memorializing February 26th. They want to celebrate Trayvon's birth," said family attorney Natalie Jackson. "It's a peace and love walk. The walk is to support and facilitate children thinking and problem solving with their minds, instead of with guns."

It has gone this far due to the out of control Liberal Media and a total lack of opposition to their crap from our side of the aisle.
Zimmerman must be most wary about the people of FL and the kinds of jurors and voters present there. There’s plenty of heat and sunshine there, but justice is certainly not guaranteed.
Zimmerman asked for the contiuance because the prosecutor is not providing the information they are legally bound to provide.
The judge has already made the decision. She said that since they (Zimmerman) asked for the date she isn’t changing it. Sounds VERY predjudicial agains Zimmerman. Not good!.
This is all so rotten. The liberals want to make an example of a person who protects himself with a gun, and of course try to get some votes in the black community. Someone needs to do some community activisim down there about the rights of people to protect themselves against thugs who would steal their property and lives.
I hope the heat of Hell never stops for Travon Martin and I hope those prosecuting Zimmerman eventually have the same fate. I hope all of them get mugged and beaten to within an inch of their lives by some Travon Martin wannabe.
I don’t understand what the liberal press has to gain by promoting a lie in this case. Wouldn’t be just as news worthy to present the truth and make a hero out of Zimmerman, which he is by the way. He saved his community from the likes of a thief and thug in one Travon Martin who will never steal again.

How many children have been murdered - yes MURDERED - in Chicago? Where are the poverty pimps in those cases? Where's the drama and the camera crews? Where's NBC and teams that can doctor tapes? Do the Chicago dead not count? Or the Detroit dead children? And why not? Why don;t they matter?
The reason NBC and the poverty pimps are here in Orlando is there's an underlying cause involved - and that's "LIBERALS DON'T WANT CITIZENS TO BE ABLE TO PROTECT THEMSELVES'.
Liberal elites live in gated communities with armed guards. They don't NEED to protect themselves because they PAY for their protection.
Liberal elites want us scared, dependent and broken. Maybe even have a few drones kill our loved ones... They don't care about Trayvon. They care about their own power.
That's why this case gets tears, publicity and high drama. The hundreds killed in Chicago don't get a kick in the face. Well, unless they're dead little bodies can be used by the liberal media to push gun control. Then the dead children of Chicago will get some attention.
