Prostitution is both legal and widespread in the Dominican Republic, where as many as 100,000 women are part of the industry in a nation that has become a major sex-tourism hotspot of the Caribbean. So it would not be a crime for Sen. Robert Menendez to have availed himself of such services during his trips to the Dominican Republic, as has been alleged.
Menendez has strenuously denied patronizing prostitutes, however, denouncing the accusations Monday in a CNN interview as “smears that right-wing blogs have been pushing since the election.” Any claim that Menendez consorted with hookers during his D>. ominican holidays “is totally unsubstantiated,” the New Jersey Democrat said. “It’s amazing to me that anonymous, nameless, faceless individuals on a Web site can drive that type of story into the mainstream.”

Again, however, the Menendez denial is false. Matthew Boyle says he interviewed two of the women last year, and Boyle is adamant in his belief that these accusers were telling the truth. This presents a rather tricky dilemma for any journalist: Who is more trustworthy, a Dominican prostitute or a New Jersey Democrat?
That's an easy question to answer and you don't even need to include the description "New Jersey" for the type of Democrat.
I’ll trust the Dominican prostitute. She provides a straight forward service for money.

When you get screwed from a hooker, you get exactly what you planned. When a New Jersey Democrat screws you, you never know what you get!
Apparently, at least two individuals have been named, and one of them is not "faceless", having come forward in public.
He scrambled to pay for two flights on the Doctors plane to the tune of $58,000 after it was revealed to the public. He paid for these two years late. Why would he spend $58,000 for two flights to the dominican republic. Answer, he wouldn’t. Something smells very fishy about his story. Menendez is still in the blame the messenger stage, much like weiner, until the truth came out.
Trick question? Of course any old whore off the street is more trustworthy than a democrat.

Although if you're not careful, you might wind up with something "extra", as well.
The reason he waited 3 months to deny is to make sure the laundry was done. I can’t remember where but I read that the prostitutes can’t be located now the apartment they used is rented to someone else and any other evidence has been scrubbed.
