Could you point us to all the school administrators, teachers, and teachers unions who are speaking out against this?

Well right off the bat I can think of three of us on this list. One of which notified you and also provided the contact information for the legislature. BTW you are still welcome for me providing that contact information.

I hope you also notice that the quality of the discourse has seriously improved with the absence of a certain person.

Does Daddy own any guns?

How does mommy feel about the government?

Do they ever use curse words when watching the news?

“Why does the state feel they have to do this?”

Because Nancy Lanza pulled Adam out of Newton High School for a while, and homeschooled him. Their rationale may be that had he had some kind of “external evaluation”, there might have been some kind of intervention before he went totally towards darkness (and we all know what happened next).

My prediction is that this law WILL pass in Connecticut. Along with much more restrictive gun control legislation there.

CT has become an “overwhelmingly blue” state, and the reality is that there’s not much conservatives can do about it — except to leave.

It is usually better to address immediate threats before critical ones. There is little advantage dealing with the overly-high speed limit on a road before getting out of the way of the oncoming truck.

This is an excellent example of how conservative parents need to work together to protect kids. ALL parents, not just home schooling ones, need to contact the school board to demand this be dropped.

Alas, there is a large population that do not consider parents like you and I to be conservative.
