If you wanna allegorize stories of Japan in WWII, what about how they agreed to basically the exact same terns of surrender that eventually settled the war before Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I would say we are doomed. The GOP at the national level were a big part of it, making believe that 2012 was 2010 and acting stupid while O out-witted them at every turn. These governors realize that they are on their own.
