I’ve heard this “reasoning” from leftists before -
if we don’t pay off the underclass, they’ll turn to violence.
My response, of course, was that if the consequences for turning to violence instead of work are severe enough, they’ll choose work.
So does this mean that, unless my taxes are lowered to the point that I can afford to buy the better food and drive the better cars which I see those with Food Stamps buying, then I would be justified in being part of McDermott’s mobs?

McDermott is an idiot just like the rest of the democrats and socialists. The equity they want is in results, not opportunity. There is already equity in opportunity, it is just that a lot of people don’t want to do the work to get the results.
