I had to laugh a little, because it’s funny how the MSM keeps talking about the Tea Party as if it’s some sort of formally organized political unit.
Reading the comments on the website is a perfect example of why this society is sliding toward dictatorship: too many people are just outright fools and vote for whoever is popular. They never grew up beyond high school. They hate the Tea Party and have no idea what it is, but don’t care because they just follow the herd.
Karl Rove and his allies took to the New York Times over the weekend to announce their new fundraising group designed for the express purpose of defeating conservatives in Republican primary elections all over the country. These are the same people who brought us No Child Left Behind, Medicare Part D, the Wall Street bailout, pork-barrel earmarks, and debt as far as the eye can see.
The comically-named Conservative Victory Project is run by Steven Law, head of American Crossroads and former Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY). It’s yet another example of the Republican establishments hostility toward its conservative base.

If McConnell did that, went down with honor, he’d have my respect. I doubt it though.
I can’t imagine any Kentuckian challenging McC in the primary; people there truly believe McC is a real “conservative”, and I don’t think we can persuade a stubborn Kentuckian otherwise.
Vichy GOPe have more problems with conservatives than leftists
The Tea Party whacked his candidate in 2010 after McInvertibrate ran off Jim Bunning. This PhonyCon Liberal will take Rove-Soros money, for sure
