In addition to Thursday's shootings, Dorner is suspected of the February 3 deaths of Monica Quan and her fiance Keith Lawrence in Irvine, according to police there.

Quan, 27, was the daughter of retired Los Angeles police officer Randal Quan, Dobine confirmed to CNN.

In his letter, which was provided to CNN by an LAPD source, Dorner said Randal Quan handled the appeal of his termination. Dorner threatened Quan and his family as well as several other LAPD figures, and said his treatment at the agency's hands had ruined his life.

"I never had the opportunity to have a family of my own, I'm terminating yours," Dorner allegedly wrote,

The letter writer warned the officers to "look your wives/husbands and surviving children directly in the face and tell them the truth as to why your children are dead."

Dorner also threatened to use his Navy training against additional police officers who he said were involved in a continuing culture of racism and misconduct in the department.

This will feed the cop haters, and others, and many will side with the suspect, essentially making him a martyr in some circles.

That was the case with another leftist, Rodney King. Chris Dorner will become a hero of the liberals as well. They always sanctify the most evil of people: Che Guevara, Ted Kennedy, Chairman Mao, Barack Hussein Obama, Bobby Seale, Hugo Chavez and, soon, Chris Dorner.

And watch for the riots to start in Los Angeles when this racist thug is justifiably dispatched to his well-deserved eternal suffering.

I wrote this earlier

“Although I (or we) do not condone the terrible shooting of blah blah blah cop’s daughter, what we have here is a man who has undergone horrific racism since childhood. He grew to man who stood tall against this racism but the institutionalized racism and corruption in the LAPD sent this good man over the edge. This man was not only pushed over the edge due to the aforementioned, but also due to the horrific recent history of gun violence against innocents and the horrible gun laws that allow the public access to them”.

Excuse the cliche...but...

And so it begins.

I'll give credit to the race hustlers: they do work quickly and have already sainted him as a "good man" against, as Chris Dorner phrases it, the evil "Caucasian" or "caucasian", depending upon the state of his shift key when he composed his screed. At least Karl Marx used proper grammar and punctuation in his manifesto rant.

"It would be a mistake to "define" him as a liberal just from his list of people he likes and dislikes."

Not just because of that. He praised the communistic, anti-American political agendas of those most left-leaning politicians and media people. He said that he committed his mass murders to spread his anti-Second-Amendment message. He's worse than a liberal. As for his fictitious claims about having light combat and strategic abilities, he was a lieutenant in the Navy--not a light combat soldier, Marine or SEAL.

He's a cop. He's a civilian. He's a politically correct socialist.

Good thinking on a possibility. We know how some of these crimes have turned out (surprising directions), but we'll see how your hunch turns out. And I won't criticize you, if it doesn't (incorrect guesses of my own in the past). :-)

So, is that him? We'll see.

The short time that I tried that work after an academy, the most bizarre events and turns were seen in or around the lifestyles of some of the upscale folks. Also has to do with why I left that field of work (corruption in that jurisdiction).

Two innocent women shot by police in massive manhunt for rogue cop...

Women delivering newspapers in Torrance shot in manhunt for ex-cop

Two women who were shot by Los Angeles police in Torrance early Thursday during a massive manhunt for an ex-LAPD officer were delivering newspapers, sources said.

The women, shot in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue, were taken to area hospitals, Torrance police Lt. Devin Chase said. They were not identified. One was shot in the hand and the other in the back, according to Jesse Escochea, who captured video of the victims being treated.

It was not immediately known what newspapers the women were delivering. After the shooting, the blue pickup was riddled with bullet holes and what appeared to be newspapers lay in the street alongside.

I have mountain biked behind Snow Summit and Bear Mountain. Although covered with fire break roads and hiking trails, there are plenty of places to hide up there.

There is a snow storm due tonight in the San Bernardino Mountains.

Isn't it a bit reckless of the media to rush to publish this story before this absolutely vital and essential fact is known?

"Don’t know about him, but the vehicle found burned in Big Bear has been confirmed his."

Well, you got that one right, then! It's very likely that he knew about the location for Honor Our Heros/Uniform Days. Good work! Good guess.

My little tangent here. It's all sad, really. Many think of violence as being somehow glorious. At least some of us who've seen enough of it firsthand don't see the excitement as much as the sadness. We see the cursory and unrealistic glimpses of violence in entertainment as being very separate from the sadness of real violence.

As for our Bill of Rights, though, maybe we should take a noisier and more stubborn approach. Not a violent approach, but to reject agreement with so-called news that is subjective, hysterical and dishonest. Same with politics. Vaclav Havel (Czechoslovakia) and "nonpolitical politics" might be a good study of part of a better movement.

There is so much dichotomy in his manifesto it is no wonder he snapped like a brittle twig in the middle of winter.

It contradicts itself many many times...

He believes all that liberal claptrap while trying to cling to some semblance of old fashioned values and his mind couldn’t take it anymore.

It is any wonder most of the crazy people who snap get stuck in a liberal thinking mindset that they try to rectify with nature which liberalism in itself abhors.

I didn’t find his manifesto racist in the least. Frightening. Rambling. Weird. Etc.

Thanks. Is it very cold in that Bear Mountain area? I’m on the Rockies (about 15 F here now—warmer than usual).

LOL! Reckless publishing it?

LAPD already gunned down two ASIAN WOMEN delivering the newspaper thinking that they were Dorner. And they weren't even driving a GRAY NISSAN TITAN. More like a Blue Toyota:

Not be outdone. Torrance police RAMMED and SHOT-UP some early morning commuters while RESPONDING to the other LAPD shooting.

They weren't driving the suspect vehicle either. But hey. It's WAS a dark colored truck.

The only thing reckless is the LAPD. Too bad the irony of the LAPD demonstrating that they are in fact trigger happy yahoos that abuse suspects as the killer they are tracking claims will be lost on them.
