Classified guns for “sporting purposes”.
All citizens who wished to purchase firearms had to register with the Nazi officials and have a background check.
Presumed German citizens were hostile and thereby exempted Nazis from the gun control law.
Gave Nazis unrestricted power to decide what kinds of firearms could, or could not be owned by private persons.
The types of ammunition that were legal were subject to control by bureaucrats.
Juveniles under 18 years could not buy firearms and ammunition.

I can hear the rhetoric now: “Just because someone has no criminal background doesn’t mean that he won’t misuse the weapon. Why else would he want it? So, we can’t approve ( or disapprove).” PURCHASE DELAYED (indefinitely)

Hmmm...no background checks so criminals can get jobs in hospitals, banks, schools, senior home, etc...
BUT background checks to take guns from honest citizens?

This truly does mirror Nazi Germany where citizens were denied the right to own a gun if the government deemed them, “untrustworthy”.
Does anyone trust the government to not use the information supplied in background checks to create a national database of firearms owners?

Universal Registration Controls are unconstitutional on three basis:
1].They are outside the purview of ‘intestate’ commerce as defined in the enumerated powers.
2].They are a Prior restraint on exercising the 2nd amendment.
3]. AND they infringe on the 2nd amendment.
Universal Registration Controls would have you cede government control over your personal property – and if you don’t think that is ripe for abuse, you haven’t been paying attention.
There is no way to enforce these new “background check” controls without registration and registration is essentially confiscation – it’s the government requiring you to get their Permission in order for you to practice one of your Constitutional rights.
A government that knows what you have WILL eventually take what you have. Right now their goal is to take ALL of your money.
Obama’s Puppet Liberal Agenda Media has two Rules:
1.) ALWAYS support Obama.
2.) ALWAYS follow Rule Number 1.
Full disclosure: Obama is grooming himself to be the Dictator for life of America.
I can see an eventual Catch 22 scenario regarding the background check.
If you want a gun, you must be mentally unbalanced and therefore we will deny you access to a gun.
If you don’t want a gun, you must be OK and we won’t have to allow you to have a gun.
It is exactly for this reason that we have the Constitution.
I think there will be too much red tape involved for the government to bother with this approach when applicants fail a background check.
There could be court challenges, extended litigation, etc.
Obama will just have Bitter-Clingers vaporized with drone missiles.
Dead men file no law suits.
