Jackson County, Oregon Sheriff Mike Winters stands up to the press and their STOOOPID questions.
At about 12:23 on the video, he mentions Fast & Furious and this administrations complicity in the murder of our border agent, Brian Terry.
He further stated the US Government will NEVER be allowed to confiscate guns in Jackson County.

Constitutional Sheriff ping!
It’s only in the last couple of years that I was sensitized to the large potential difference between a Sheriff and a Chief of Police (and his union minions).
Sheriff Winters is a Sheriff that has his head screwed on straight!!
He needs to ask that smug twit pretending to be sanctimonious in asking if he’s going to follow the law (regardless of whether “the law” is in opposition to the Second Amendment of the Constitution), if she thinks it’s OK to ignore the Constitution itself in ignoring the enforcement of immigration law. It seems the rule on following the law changes when its their ox getting gored. We’re the ones who have the Constitution on our side in ignoring the infringement of the Second Amendment, they ignore the Constitution and the law in allowing “sanctuary cities”. We need to designate certain areas “sanctuary cities” for Second Amendment upholders.

We’ve got a pretty good sheriff, but our media stinks...all a bunch of lefties.

I didn’t really understand it until I marched with Sheriff Richard Mack in Grants Pass, Oregon in the early 90’s for the 2nd amendment.
He stood up like this when he had to do it alone against the Brady Bill.

With officers laid-off and furloughed, simply calling 9-1-1 and waiting is no longer your best option. You can beg for mercy from a violent criminal, hide under the bed, or you can fight back; but are you prepared? Consider taking a certified safety course in handling a firearm so you can defend yourself until we get there. You have a duty to protect yourself and your family. We’re partners now. Can I count on you?
