LaRue Tactical To Limit Law Enforcement Sales to Same Weapons as Citizens
Ammo Land ^ | Feb 9, 2013 | Ammoland Staff

Posted on 02/09/2013 4:55:45 PM PST by EXCH54FE

LEANDER, TX --(Ammoland.com)- Due to the recent and numerous new Anti-gun/Anti-2nd Amendment laws passed and/or pending across our country, LaRue Tactical has been forced to reconsider how we provide products to state and local agencies.

Effective today, in an effort to see that no legal mistakes are made by LaRue Tactical and/or its employees, we will apply all current State and Local Laws (as applied to civilians) to state and local law enforcement / government agencies.

In other words, LaRue Tactical will limit all sales to what law-abiding citizens residing in their districts can purchase or possess.

State and local laws have always been a serious focus of this firm, and we are now dovetailing that focus with the constitutional rights of the residents covered in their different areas by the old and new regulations.

We realize this effort will have an impact on this firm’s sales – and have decided the lost sales are less danger to this firm than potential lawsuits from erroneous shipments generated by something as simple as human error.

Thanks in advance for your understanding.

Mark LaRue

They won’t lose sales by this decision. At the moment, they can’t keep up with demand.

Good on LaRue. Being a cop I wholeheartedly agree. Cops cannot be considered above anybody else. We’re all Americans.

Never give up your guns.

May this spread to all firearms vendors save one, and may that one be sued out of existence due to a clerical error.

If the police want a given weapon, and can prove they need it, then the civilians have the same need.

I note that the LAPD was unable to stop vicious hispanic women, one middle-aged and one elderly, armed with assault newspapers despite catching them unawares and discharging 50 rounds at their backs from fairly close range.

This tells me that a mere citizen, who hasn’t anywhere near the range time, also needs high capacity magazines to have any hope against a similarly armed attacker...

They were shot at as a large bald black man, initially reported as two elderly Asian women, they turned out to be:

Margie Carranza, 47, and her mother, Emma Hernandez, 71, were the victims of "a tragic misinterpretation" by officers working under "incredible tension,"

Police and municipal lobbies are a huge part of the constituency against the Second Amendment despite or aside from some of the pro-Second-Amendment messages released by some leaders in law enforcement.

Nice, very clean looking mount... I'm going to have to go find something from them I need. Could use a sling for my AR, still not decided on single point or two-point though...

No problem! I posted about them as two elderly Asian women. I don't think the 47 year old would appreciate that...
