I just can’t wait till they come snoot to snoot with a real bad guy.

They'd just run away like little girls and have The Won nuke him from orbit.

Hasn’t happened yet. Course all my guns are very well behaved. Not a bad apple in the bunch.

The willingness to wantonly use deadly force without any regard for due process or inconcent bystanders

I gotta tell ya, if I was withing a thousand yards of one of these morons, I'd probably be a pretty incontinent bystander myself! ;)

How is it that there are so many people in the government that have sharp objects and live ammo who should be on the short bus?

No wonder everybody working for the government wants us not to have anything more lethal than a pool noodle. They're using EACH OTHER as a barometer of the competence and judgment of normal people!

Don’t care what happens to Donner, but I want the LAPD to be forced to stand down, then see them all disarmed.
All the cops who opened fire with out IDing their target properly first need to be tried for attempted murder and, if convicted, kept in general population where their lives will, hopefully, be miserable an short.

These “shoot first and the identify” types are going to cost the LAPD a ton of money from lawsuits from this blatant stupidity.

Except that the case will be heard in the court of a California-appointed judge by government-sucking Kalifornia sheeple.

How are their actions any different than Dorner's?

He's a better shot?

Maybe, but I think they'll get actual damages only.Medical bills, time lost, etc. LA is Broke, California is Broke, and so is the federal government. Who'll gonna pay that tab? Our grandchildren?

Take it out of the po-po's pension fund as far as I'm concerned. Can't imagine why the same group that provides their victim pool should pick up the tab.

OK - you have 2 lame excuses; all seven cops have night blindness and now, somehow, you know their age.

PLUS, if you have a disability that prevents you from making judgments on vehicle colors and makes, shouldn't you refrain from ACTING on the judgments you're not competent to make?

Bad color differentiation or brand recognition IOW MIGHT be a reasonable reason for not shooting when you could have, but certainly not for shooting when you shouldn't have.

Oakland. It’s where the guy who fired him from the LAPD is currently.

I don’t know about this. The LAPD is not we loved in la-la-land when it comes to shooting members of the civilian population. If the cops come to trial on anything, it will be interesting. The LAPD and Torrance cops are going to try an out of court settlement route. How much they’ll offer is not known, but I will guess it will be too low and big dollar lawsuits will be filed. I also expect the LAPD and Torrence PD will try and exonerate their cops, instead of holding them accountable.

Correction: Former LAPD top cop and Oakland PD Consultant William Bratten has not yet arrived in town.

I withdraw my Oakland guess, I now have no idea as to his current 10-20.
