Just because the “could” check, doesn’t mean they HAVE checked.
We still have no indication of widespread collection of gunstore records.
It is also not reasonable to believe that they are scrubbing everybody’s Visa records for ammo purchases.
You would have to be on another list of indicators, before they checked that item.
Most Sheriffs hold their CCW records secure and do NOT turn them into the State or the Feds.
Just because a data trail exists, doesn’t mean the feds have the resources to check up on 300 Million people.

True...but who’s fooling who. If the government wants Visa to supply them with records, Visa will supply those records. Whether they see a need for it now is a valid question. I suspect now, they simply get ALL of the electronic transactions and store them away in database, for future use. But should the time come for gun sweeps, they will certainly use that data.
Again, my point is that the same people that intentionally keep themselves out of ANY database are often the same people that will blow the question when asked by their doctor...so I’m just trying to make sure people are prepared.
