Apple CEO (1%er) to sit with Michelle Obama during State of the Union

Apple CEO Tim Cook will sit with First Lady Michelle Obama during President Obama's State of the Union address on Tuesday night.

It marks the second year in a row the invitation has been extended to the Apple family. Last year, Laurene Powell Jobs, widow of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, joined Michelle Obama in the coveted spot.

During an appearance on CNBC, White House economic advisor Gene Sperling confirmed Cook's participation.

"Apple is a great American company, and it stands for our sense of innovation, invention, entrepreneurship, and risk taking and I think that's quite an appropriate person to be in the First Lady's box when the president is talking about our economic future, the importance of job creation, manufacturing, innovation and how we create strong middle-class jobs," Sperling said.

C’mon—give her a break. It’s SOOOOO hard to have to sit with the little people.

No way. Obama could sit with the Pope at an atheist convention and they would all be Catholics within a week.

Success and enjoyment of the fruits of your labor requires permission from the gov’t. That is the trend :(

Tim Cook is homosexual.

No surprise that the far-left program is his own.

Ironic that a firm which made its pile as a result of American economic and business opportunity will send a representative to sit with the most anti-business, Marxist president in the history of the United States.

What IS surprising is the number of apple fanbois on FR who would gladly take Tim Cook up to the hilt, if he’d only autograph their personal i-thing. Whereupon they’d promptly swoon.

So if all jobs in the US move to China, nobody will need to bother to work any more? Is that Michelle's idea?

This is not surprising. Many, if not most, of the types that own and control global Corporations are hardcore leftist. They love the power of the centralized state. Insiders are exempt from the taxes and regulations used to stifle their competition. They fancy themselves "change agents" that use their positions to push DIEversity, environmentalism, and homosexualism. They love putting Americans out of work and setting up shop in Red China. Many of these Corporations are not primarily viewed as money making operations but as fronts used to control certain sectors of society.

HERE is an interesting chart showing the relationship of some of the most powerful global Corporations and a tiny group of people that no one could mistake for being concerned for the well being of the American people.

Wanna hear something funny? I know his brother. They are, like me and my brother, totally opposite of each other. Tim’s brother is a competive shooter who owns more guns than any other 20 people combined that I know. He spends most of his free time shooting or reloading. He knows all the major gun reps by name. However, one thing they do have in common is uncommon intelligence. His brother is a great guy who most FReepers would get along with very well. He is very conservative.

FBI and DHS can control your Apple device and, essentially, you...

If you own an Apple product, Apple gave Odinga the ability to own you.

I always suspected that about Apple users.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outlaw_motorcycle_club#One_percenter

They adopt similar insignia, colors, organizational structure and trappings, like beards and leather outfits which are typical of apple users. It has been said that they are attracted by the mystique of the outlaw image while objecting to the suggestion that they are outlaws
