Heart Attack Grill spokesman dies from heart attack

The second unofficial spokesman for the Heart Attack Grill in downtown Las Vegas has died from an apparent heart attack.

John Alleman suffered a heart attack last week as he waited at the bus stop in front of the restaurant, located inside the Neonopolis at Fremont Street and Las Vegas Boulevard.

Alleman was taken off life support shortly after 1 p.m. on Monday, said restaurant owner Jon Basso. He was 52.

"He lived a very full life,"

Regardless of cardiovascular ailments the older I get the less I like greasy foods like bacon, breakfast sausage, salami and the like however I will never be a total vegan subsisting on ‘rabbit food only’. Plus I’d like to stay away from hospitals and expensive medical costs. I’d like to die in my sleep when the Lord calls me and avoid all that mess but a massive, fatal MI isn’t too bad of a 2nd exit option.

Funny premise in the movie "Defending Your Life" where in the afterlife, while you are being judged (which apparently takes place over several "days"), you are afforded the opportunity to partake in lots of extracurricular activities, one of which is to indulge in lots of different kinds of foods - which no longer has any negative effect on your health - or your waistline.

That’s how my dad went. We were visiting Paris, and on the bus going back to the city, he grabbed his chest, said “I’m so dizzy,” then collapsed. The bus driver pulled over immediately right in front of a clinic. Ninety seconds after he grabbed his chest he was in an ER, where he died.. He was 56, a retired Detroit cop. Good way to go, but way too young.
