Innovations in care delivery and President Obama´s signature health law are transforming American medicine for the better, the top U.S. health official said Tuesday. In wide-ranging remarks to a medical conference in Washington, D.C., Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius thanked physicians for tolerating the challenges of a changing U.S. healthcare system. "I understand that the change is not easy," Sebelius told members of the American Medical Association. "As we transition into an era of integrated, patient-centered care, it´s inevitable that there will be some growing pains.

As we transition into an era of integrated, patient-centered care, it´s inevitable that there will be some growing pains.

Like a huge Doctor shortage, that all conservatives warned of, for example.

(That is to say: the once Golden State of California)

Where is the barf alert?

The entire Democrat LIEberal/Socialist/Marxist/Fascist “community” lives in some alternative universe where they believe that “saying so makes it so.”

At some point, the American people are going to rebel against these congenital liars, and the outcome will not be pretty.

In fact, as I write this, Obongo Bozo is lying, again, to the American people about the SOTU.

Joe Wilson was right when he accused Obongo of being a liar. I wonder if anyone will call him out tonight?

Or tomorrow?

Or ever?

Seems to me that EVERY time any public official lies, they should be, metaphorically, tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail.

If we had more of that (metaphorically or FOR REAL!), perhaps there would be more public officials telling the truth lying less?

Well, that too, but here "health care" is a Newspeak phrase, rather than an English phrase, and like all real-world Newspeak can denote what the English phrase denotes, or a variety of other things as suits the Party (and which it means even in a given utterance may vary depending on the Party's need from when the sentence is uttered to when it is interpreted or critiqued).

Sebalius here is using "health care" to mean what the English phrase, "the government takeover of health care" means, and with that meaning is telling the truth, but will pretend that she means what the English phrase "health care" means when it suits the Party's purpose (thus lying).

Sebelius: Healthcare ´getting stronger´

Oh, REALLY????? Then, why, pray-tell, am I having a disagreement with my physician on his essentially demanding that I must have a shot of cortizone in my shoulder that I've experienced pain in for more than a year now, without doing any tests to determine why my shoulder is messed up? BECAUSE, the medical protocol is to TREAT without doing evaluations that cost money.

Government health care will provide millions of high paying jobs for US workers who otherwise would not have a shot at a good job.

The data mined from the mandated electronic medical records system will keep government employees busy 9 to 5 24/7 356.

This new squad of government goonies will make the TSA look small in comparison.

“Mr. Maybolt, this is special government health monitor agent Tyrese Latrell. I see yo weight is above the 20th percentile and we is gonna block yo purchase of chips and cheese until you weight get back into our government backed guideline. We wills unblock yo government issued food purchasing permit card when yo weight is in check. In follow up did you turn in the guns yo doctor said you have?”

Perhaps some don’t know the term “watermelon talk”, I first heard it while working for the Federal Government, it was the name given a verbose speech that meant nothing, full of words but no substance. Kind of like when you eat watermelon, it’s a big looking piece, but squishes down to nothing.
